Secondly, not very festive but I was thinking of buying Dd some suitcases for her year abroad next year. I have honestly got her nice presents too and she’s be delighted to get some possibly better quality than if we were buying last minute.
I was thinking one large and one cabin.
American tourister was recommended but I’m open to any recommendations for good quality, bright colour sets and preferably discounted. Hate paying full now!

My teens were given suitcases for Christmas 2019 as had happy travels planned for 2020... They loved them and are now pleased to be getting good use of them! As dd is away at uni she uses hers quite a bit. I got theirs from Tripp which regularly has sales on abd I think you can get cash back from Quidco too. I got a samsonite one for my birthday and I love it! My dm has just bought my DN a lovely one as DN was quite envious of the ones we all had at a wee family break recently (can't remember the name but it's a good make). That was from Robert Dyas and was reduced.

@nicky2512 I have a small samsonite case that I bought about 20years ago in tk maxx clearance & it's great. If you've a local tk maxx it might be worth a look as they may have some other decent brands.
