Hope you all find me ok

@EightToSixer clearly knows something I don’t about neom boxes 🤣.

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

@DentalWorries I’m kicking myself as look fantastic had the 90ml black opium reduced to £78, and I waited as I needed to buy 2 and it’s back up to full price! All beauty has it for £85 gift wrapped, but I’m hoping for a better deal for Black Friday 🤞

@Crapbags that’s really helpful re the m&s diffuser, thank you. It’s for dds bedroom and she would probably forget to refill as often so maybe I’ll look for one with a bigger water receptacle. I was tempted by the mini neom one but it looks like you have to actually connect their bottles to that and I’m not wanting to be stuck having to buy a £20 bottle of oil each time!

That’s a great deal for the Xmas pjs at Disney, I hate that there’s only the one Disney store now though, none in Scotland anymore!

chillimice · 20/11/2021 10:40

@Allhallowseve do any of their friends have consoles? The most useful console is the same as their friends so they can play together virtually. DS at 8 got a switch mostly as that's what his friends had and he specifically wanted to play Zelda and would really recommend - portable, multiplayer options and still uses as a teenager even though mostly they all game on a PC now. But he doesn't play fifa so I don't know if it's the best for that sorry!

IggyAce · 20/11/2021 10:43

@DentalWorries Look fantastic have some great deals coming up Friday 26th they will have upto 50% off with influencer code + another 11% off almost everything. Note the Code LFTFLYNDSEYM. (I don’t benefit)

WhyDoesItAlways · 20/11/2021 10:43

I think those Disney PJ's might be Primark. Saw some similar in there this week.

I have an oil diffuser from Amazon that has a large water capacity. It's really good and I love the gentle water noise to go to sleep to. Don't know how much it cost as it was gifted to me but there are loads of similar ones on there.

@Froppysue see my above message.

Best places for perfume discounts? DM has asked for Red Door.

@Allhallowseve

Hi all wise mumsnetters I am still looking for a console for my ds(7) . I am now swaying towards a Nintendo switch (I have ds(5) also - perhaps they can play together . I am torn to be honest has any one got a 7 year old with a console what is best Xbox / PlayStation/ Nintendo switch - he really wants to play fifa. I'm hoping to make a decision by Black Friday !!
To be totally honest with you, if you are expecting to get the console for Christmas you probably don't even have as much choice as you think unfortunately. The XBOX and PS5 are notoriously hard to get hold of at the moment as stock is so sparse.

The switch is a great console though and definitely suitable for both ages

Newdad19 · 20/11/2021 10:48

@Lellyo

Someone mentioned a place where they buy their Christmas lights, can anyone remember the name please?
lights 4 fun
Crapbags · 20/11/2021 10:51

Oh gosh sorry I realise now I didn’t say that the Disney Pjs were in primark, not the Disney store🤦🏼‍♀️

LavateLasManos · 20/11/2021 10:52

Primark Chester has the reduced Disney Christmas family pyjamas, as well as a big range of the fake Oodies. I saw Xbox, Minecraft, PlayStation, Lakers, Minnie Mouse, plain styles and a Nordic style Christmas version.

NoWordForFluffy · 20/11/2021 10:55

@IggyAce @DentalWorries @catsarebetterthandogs9

Thanks for the black opium help! I’ll check out look fantastic but the John Lewis deal looks great, as I need to buy 2 it’s says spend over £100 on ysl and save £20 at checkout with code - only problem is I can’t find the code, can anyone help please?

awishes · 20/11/2021 11:05

Can anyone explain the Clinique offer please. It says 20% offer plus free full size treat but aren't getting 20% off? Thanks!

takethattime · 20/11/2021 11:05

Crapbags. You can use any oil in a neom diffuser. Not just their own.

SpamIAm · 20/11/2021 11:05

@PinkDaydreams in case it's useful in future, if you pay by PayPal you can claim return shipping of up to £15 twelve times a year.

Should have said, I think you need to activate it on your PayPal account first though.

It was me that said this, the mini neom diffuser says you diffuse directly from the bottle, so their bottles may be the only ones that fit. Others might but I think it would be an expensive trial and error. I think it’s because it’s marketed as travel and not needing to use water etc.
Froppysue · 20/11/2021 11:08

@imnottoofussed omg thank you, that takes the 2 bottles of 90ml down to £110 - don’t think I’d get cheaper than that on Black Friday

Hi all.wonder if anyone can help. Looking for a gift for my 95yo grandmother. Had been planning on taking her to a carol concert but has been cancelled due to covid so now need to look for a gift instead. I remember some suggestions somewhere in the thread but can't find them, perhaps a heated throw? Or any other suggestions would be great.she doesn't really need anything in particular but want to get her something that's not just chocolates/biscuits. Thanks in advance.

YippieKayakOtherBuckets · 20/11/2021 11:24

@takethattime

I am looking for a lava lamp. Not necessarily a deal but a recommended one.
I recently retrieved the Mathmos lava lamp I was given for my sixteenth birthday from my parents’ loft and it still works perfectly twenty-two years later, plus they do spares for pretty much everything. Not the cheapest but imho the best.
