Interested to hear the wishlists.

I'm also looking for suggestions of slightly more luxury versions of toiletries that your DD's enjoy for my DD.

Mid to late 20s here but gifts between them include Urban Decay Eyeshadow, ballet/theatre tickets, decent journal/diary, books, garden centre vouchers, massage vouchers

CovidCorvid · 03/10/2021 22:02

Too faced cinnamon swirl eyeshadow set
A Lego set she wants
Book tokens

25yearsnhsworker · 03/10/2021 22:06

My Dd likes rituals shower foam and Molton brown shampoo.
A massage or facial is lovely

cameocat · 03/10/2021 22:07

ramonaquimby · 03/10/2021 22:12

How is it rude that she's asking what our dds enjoy that's slightly more luxurious?

gogohm · 03/10/2021 22:33

Weekend in London here, dp is buying for his dd too so we'll all go. Theatre, meals, and countless cocktail bars!

pumpkinpie01 · 03/10/2021 22:34

I have bought the professional hair styler that she has asked for. There is also some expensive make up that was requested Laura mercier powder I think , can't remember what other make up . I will also get her some gel nail varnishes to add to her collection, a shacket she saw in New Look a while ago , a little cream fur handbag , maybe a voucher too - Zara , new look , H&M. I find shopping for her so easy compared to her brothers

Bit presumptuous. Did you mean this to sound so rude?

I don’t think it’s rude to ask for what luxury toiletries your dd’s like.

Thanks for the suggestions, mid to late 20s suggestions are also welcomed!

I haven't got a 20 year old daughter Grin
But I recently bought a heated blanket and it'd amazing.

Jumpingintosummer · 03/10/2021 22:44

Not quite 20 but I got Jo Malone pomegranate noir bath oil and body creme for DD earlier this year as a lockdown treat… she was ecstatic!

TheFoz · 03/10/2021 22:50

Bluetooth headphones. Voucher for driving lessons. Voucher for a facial. Skincare that she likes, Caudelie and the Skin Nerd. She has lots of make up already so none of that. Maybe a bookshop voucher or a book if I see one that I think she’ll like.

londonmummy1966 · 03/10/2021 22:51

Oh behave Hmm
SuperLoudPoppingAction · 04/10/2021 00:02

She just got her ears pierced so earrings maybe

Present indicative has some nice stuff or there's a similar site that is more literary.

She is getting many books including the slytherin version of Harry Potter books

A voucher for her favourite independent pub/restaurant.

UnLunDun · 04/10/2021 05:59

Mine doesn’t wear make-up, isn’t interested in nails etc, but so far I’ve thought of: steampunk watch, antique doll (she collects them), Victorian sewing box (she got a Victorian sewing machine on her 18th), illustrated book on her favourite costume designer, some bits from Museum Collection that she’s oohed over, Audrey Hepburn dvd, teddy bedding and a Japanese colouring book.

CovidCorvid · 04/10/2021 06:36

You made it sound like ‘whatever your dd’s enjoy - mine will want something more superior so please suggest better for my dd’

I didn’t read it like that at all. Op was asking for slightly luxury brands which people’s DD’s like. So Charlotte Tilbury level rather than Superdrug own brand. Not that there’s anything wrong with Superdrug but it’s for Xmas and I assume OP knows what budget she has in mind so there’s no point asking about cheaper stuff if she’s planning on spending more. 🤷‍♀️

LesLavandes · 04/10/2021 07:24

I will buy my daughter'Trinny London' products

MrsPToBe123 · 04/10/2021 09:20

I am neither 20 (am 32) or have a daughter, but I feel like my wish lists haven't changed much! I did recently buy the Charlotte Tilbury look of love palette (around £50) which is worth a look. Its quite generic as only a few palettes available but it has an eyeshadow, bronzer, highlighter, blusher and powder. It's good for trying out new make up before splurging on the big items.

Sweetener12 · 04/10/2021 10:55

Skincare products/cosmetics store gift card.
Light perfume.
Items related to her hobbies.
Steam gift card or subscriptions to photo editing software like Photoworks or video editors like Adobe Premiere.
Tickets to various shows/theatre.

onlychildhamster · 04/10/2021 11:19

I am late 20s

Nars liquid blush
Suqqu foundation (if you want to be the world's best mum as I am giddy when paying for it but might be hard to colour match her)
Milk makeup
Most young ladies like Charlotte Tilbury too, I have her contour palette which is quite good.
My parents once bought me a Barbour jacket which I wear daily
Ex boyfriend's mum used to give me coach wristlets which I use to this day.
Something pretty from Kate Spade
Knomo laptop backpack

Longbarn5 · 04/10/2021 13:34

Molton Brown and or Lush products
Red letter day
Stationery if a student
Make up a hamper
Hotel choc items
