A few people have asked me how they should thank the person who sent them something - can I suggest you post on here? Namechange if you want to remain anonymous, and remember that your donor won't know your MN name anyway - so maybe give some clues (ie "thank you for the lego and the chocolate")

LL- can you check if mine has? I have lost the recorded delivery slip and am worried that it has taken a detour- I have not seen a post on here yet.

Lazawreath, I emailed on Dec 7th to ask, but have not had a reply, and haven't seen her on the boards at all either. Will email again.

Emma, I had to backup my computer; defrag it; install new software; take the case off and add new memory and a new video card; then run a load of updates. I'm scanning it at the moment and it's been through 180,000 files and is still running! This process has taken about a week

ON the royalmail website it is saying they were delivered so she must have got those ones.
I really do hope everything is ok. Wish I could help more tbh

HappyBirthdayJesus - your lady hasn't had yours yet. But she says anything coming through with Royal Mail is taking forever. I can agree with that, I had an order delivered yesterday that was sent more than a week earlier

Hi sorry I've been offline for a bit but I wanted to thank me secret santa very much, someone has very kindly sent us some chocs, a gift token and some books. The dcs will love the books they were all fascinated by the night garden at one point and the vehicle ones will go down very well! you must have boys to get it that right. (Token and chocs are very kind too I'm trying very hard to save mine and Christmas needs chocolate money......)

Ah, so relieved to have found this thread in the hopes that the lovely person(s) who have sent me something might read, and know how totally blown away I was. I received a lovely set from The Sanctuary as well as a Boots gift card, and was just thrilled to bits. Actually made me shed a little tear to think how kind people can be - it's very humbling to have been a part of this, and I am truly grateful. Thank you so, so much for giving me a lovely ending to what has been a horrible, sad year. xx
