A few people have asked me how they should thank the person who sent them something - can I suggest you post on here? Namechange if you want to remain anonymous, and remember that your donor won't know your MN name anyway - so maybe give some clues (ie "thank you for the lego and the chocolate")

Oh jolly good, that parcel arrived very quickly TTT and I am glad it got to you safely. The clothes were just a last minute addition, ones that we never got around to using for ds so I thought worth sending on just in case you could use them.

I really liked the photo hanger myself and hope your dd is pleased with it, and that you all have a super Christmas.

Santasmissyontheside · 15/12/2007 16:05

thanks again to all 3 of mine

TinselTrace2 · 15/12/2007 16:54

i want to thank the lady who sent me a parcel from oxford! i wonder if the lady knows about dd being small as they sent one gorgeous red dress and cardie and a beautiful cream top from gap and red trousers with the gift receipt( but dd looks so good in red i wont be changing them in size 3 to 6 months shes look like a princess, oh and a pressie for me.

its made my christams knowing so many people care when they dont even now you, as feeling so down as dd was back in hospital yesterday this has made me smile

again thank you so much

HappyBirthdayJesus · 15/12/2007 19:12

Bit worried that the parcel I posted on the 7th hasn't arrived yet. I posted it to someone in Essex with two 8yo dd's and a ds. There are some things in a Hasbro box. If anyone has received it could they say on here please before I start hassling Royal Mail? Ta.

TheYoungVisiturkeyandstuffing · 15/12/2007 21:05

merrylissiemas you are very welcome!! I think it must be my parcel although I was told you had a DD...? Maybe I mis-read the email!

Assuming it IS me, I should mention - the box isn't sweeties, it's a fuzzy-felt toy sweet shop - not real sweeties.

PaperChain · 15/12/2007 21:23

TheYoungVisiturkeyandstuffing · 15/12/2007 21:34

TheYoungVisiturkeyandstuffing · 15/12/2007 21:35

SmileyThanks · 16/12/2007 10:02

Just a big, big thank you to whoever sent the big box through Parcelforce. It is nice to know people care.
It contained puzzles, a teddy bear, and a lovely v-tech kissing teddy. Also the packets of white chocolate buttons. Yummy- no really LO will get them- of course she has to share!!
Thank you again.

Bocohohoho · 16/12/2007 10:07

Lapin sorry to pester again but any idea if my parcel arrived where it was going? I posted it 12 days ago first class and not seen any mention on here.

TenLordsaLapin · 16/12/2007 10:13

I'll check Boco. Am having rather massive PC problems at the moment, and I'm about to disassemble my laptop to add some more memory... so either I will be back all shiny in an hour, or I'll be back, swearing and using DH's laptop. Wish me luck!
