A few people have asked me how they should thank the person who sent them something - can I suggest you post on here? Namechange if you want to remain anonymous, and remember that your donor won't know your MN name anyway - so maybe give some clues (ie "thank you for the lego and the chocolate")

quintessentail
Now im really confused.
I have recieved so far, 2 parcels i think from 2 different Mnetters.
!
1 was a disney princess bag filled with hair accessories, a make your own suncatcher thingy and a Tshirt transfer doodle crayoning set. (i assumed and will be for dd1&2)
The 2nd was todays parcel of clothes aged 7 all beautiful, including the most lovely purple winter coat.

Quintessential, you mention in your last post about my ds. I only have dds.

A little confused.

Bit none the less grateful to whoever it was that sent me so much more than i ever expected.

NAB3littlemonkeys · 13/12/2007 19:31

Haven't opened yet but I think they are Princessy stuff. Thank you so much. Very touched to have been nominated and thank you too to my nominee.

TenLordsaLapin · 13/12/2007 19:56

Quint I think you are getting your parcels confused...

QuintessentialShadowOfSnowball · 13/12/2007 20:22

Haychingbells, sorry, I meant DD not DS. In addition there should be a little pink pendant on pink "leather" string for an Asthma charity in the bag together with the hair accessories (some from H&M)

OhmythankyousosomuchsSanta · 13/12/2007 20:36

Ohmythankyousosomuch Glad the parcel has arrived and its all ok. My dc loved helping pick out some toys to send (although a couple of the bits I sent were secret as they were part of 3for2 type offers and my dc will be getting the same in their stockings! ) so will be delighted to know its all arrived.

I also got ridiculously quite excited finding things to send I feel all warm and fuzzy!!

Sorry there weren't any boys clothes but my ds1 is also 4 so still wearing his clothes! Well, most of the time

Oh and I'm very impressed if you manage to make the chocolates last till xmas day!

CliffRichardSucksEggsinHell · 13/12/2007 20:49

Thanks to whoever sent the parcel from Norfolk with a musical elf hat inside and Santa salt and pepper set - they made me smile! Thank you also to whoever nominated me.

Also just wondering if anyone has received my parcel LL? It was posted on the 7th so should be there by now.

Peshanearth · 13/12/2007 20:51

Ohmythankyousosomuch - I was just telling dp that you had received the box and he asked if I'd remembered to put batteries in for the little computer thing I didnt I didnt even get round to checking what batteries it takes.

So could you have a look and I'll pop some in an envelope to you tomorrow. I have a drawer full of them so its not a problem i was just being my usual dappy self!

Peshanearth · 13/12/2007 20:55

Bum.

Further evidence of my dappiness

Dp came in and said that after I had taken off my secret santa guise to post on my PN thread!

Still I suppose there are worse threads to forget to name change on!

Pinkchampagne · 13/12/2007 21:08

When I got home from work today I was very surprised to receive another parcel, this time an aromatherapy collection for me!
What lovely thoughtful people you are - thank you so much.

hayCHingleBells · 13/12/2007 21:23

Quint
Thankyou, i have all the accessories including the asthma charity necklace (bagpuss i think).

Shes gonna love them all.
I really didnt expect anything, i was just happy to be a giver.
Really grateful though!

They have all been put away, ready for the big day.

I guess it was a parcel from you quint for dd2 and the clothing parcel from another mner for dd1.

Much love to you all and have a very merry christmas!!
MN RULES!

ATortIsForLifeNotJustChristmas · 13/12/2007 22:30

OMG! I got a box of presents and bits for my DC and me today and i didn't even know i had been nominated.

I was almost in tears. My ds2 is going to be thrilled with the Horrid Henry books. He loves reading and HH is his favourite at the moment!

Thank you so much whoever sent to me. All the card says is GAW.

Also a big thank you to whoever nominated me! Although i don't really think we deserve it. There are much worse of people on MN than me.
[fgrin

GreedyGecko · 14/12/2007 10:17

Erm...OMG! Thank You to whoeer has sent me another parcel. It arrived yesterday, but I was out and cannot collect for 48 hrs, so will say a proper thank you as soon as I pick it up, but just to let you know if you sent a parcel to Portsmouth via Royal Mail this week, it has arrived.

TenLordsaLapin · 14/12/2007 10:19

Oh my god Gecko, do you have to collect it from the main PO? Go at 7:30 am, the queues are horrific at the moment! (or get them to redeliver)

GreedyGecko · 14/12/2007 10:32

I think I'll get them to redilver LL. No children tomorrow morning, so really don't fancy getting up early! Thanks.

GreedyGecko · 14/12/2007 10:35

redeliver

JingJanglingBexieHoHoHo · 14/12/2007 10:51

JingJanglingrecieversaidthanks - glad you got your box of goodies ok. It wasn't as much as i'd hoped to put in there as we had a our car broke into/written off last month and DF had to use our house deposit savings to get a new one . I hope you could understand my 'scrawl' saying which present was for which child! If you haven't got it already, I think there was someone else sending a parcel too. Hope you have a lovely Christmas! This is my 2nd one with DF, and my 2nd one in Scotland and our 20 month olds 2nd one, lol. Very confusing!

debbie102 - as you now know it was me who niminated you!

ninewurlysdancing · 14/12/2007 11:15

glad you got it tortoise, just thought it would help make christmas a little easier , no peeking at your presents til christmas day tho

ATortIsForLifeNotJustChristmas · 14/12/2007 12:58

Thank you Wurly.
