Anyone else trouble with Boots on line? & what can I do about it?!

placed an order 27/11. had a confirmation email......& nothing since. they havent replied to my email, & when I try to ring customer service I just get cut off!

That's really odd. I placed an order Saturday and had a message it'll be delivered tomorrow (Royal Mail)

Same here OP. I placed an order on 27/11 as well. I got the confirmation email but nothing else since then.
I checked the order details online and got a tracking number but it appears the shipment is stuck somewhere between Boots and Royal mail.
I tried calling customer services yesterday but had no luck.

Same here, I got a damaged half open box with just a gift bag in but no perfume, then after several numbers finally got through to some one using this number 0345 125 1662.. They told me that they had sent two boxes ,( the other supposedly had the perfume in,) but it has been showing 'waiting to receive from sender ' on post office tracking for over a week now.. Iemailed with photos of empty box and the post office status message and finally got an email and refund from them today ..
I think something has gone majorly wrong with their systems by the sound of it

Yes they are super slow

I ordered in 1 December. Silence for ages and now have a text saying it will be delivered on Thursday.

Perhaps we have come to expect Amazon style speed

Similar here, 1 of 2 parcels delivered. I finally got through on 03451251662 and they agreed that my order must now be lost (despatch status with royal mail tracking number on boots.com, but it was never received by royal mail) and they would re-order for me but the item was now out of stock so they refunded me. Pretty annoyed at the whole shambles - managed to get the missing gift elsewhere today luckily. Good luck!

Same here. Am still waiting for 2 different orders which were placed at the end of November and, same as pp, they appear to be "stuck" between Boots and Royal Mail. And customer service line just cuts off. Certainly won't be ordering anything else from Boots if I can help it.

I've been impressed with Boots, not overly fast but good communication. I have 3 orders sent without issue over the last 2 months.

Looks like we all have the same story, then.....I reckon out stuff is all on the same lorry that has been abandoned in a layby somewhere in Nottingham between Boots HQ and the local sorting office !

I ordered 27rd November, with a latest delivery date of Saturday just gone but the tracking status was stuck in "on its way to royal mail". Spoke to someone on Sunday saying that it means Royal Mail has the package but hasn't yet processed it and if I didn't get it within another 72hours they would refund (which I didn't want as some stuff had sold out and I got like £10 of points!). I had given up all hope but got a text this afternoon from Royal Mail saying it's coming Thursday.. I wonder if they "misplaced" a batch of packages!

Also paid extra for a next day delivery from JL that didn’t arrive.

Also had two identical items returned to Next by the gift recipient but only one refunded onto my card.

The stress and time it takes so sort these things out.

Roll on shopping in person again!

I also ordered on the 27th. Over £300 and it seems stuck between boots and royal mail and I'm unable to track. Will try the number a PP posted 😔

Not Boots but am awaiting parcels from two other companies apparently stuck "on their way from sender" according to Royal Mail. Both have info on their websites explaining that the parcels aren't stuck but are with Royal Mail and that's where the backlog is. And I've placed orders from other companies today who were making noises about Royal Mail delays and advising customers to order asap.

I agree we are used to Amazon et al. I've had deliveries via Hermes and APD today, both delivered within 48hrs.

Our local sorting office had 27 staff off isolating recently. Apparently all you could see was rack after rack of parcels waiting to be delivered. As staff returned to work they prioritised getting the parcels delivered over the mail as they were more visible. We had a customs charge to pay and when I went on to pay it it said the parcel had been returned due to non collection - I went on the same day the card was delivered. My DH went the next day and collected it - it had been there three weeks but they hadn't told us.

I ordered online from Boots for the first time recently as I am not too keen to go in store at present, too busy! It was a bit slow, but when it arrived one of the items was missing and there was a completely different item which I didn't order at all! I could never get through on any of the phone numbers, but did get a response via twitter direct message. They told me to take the wrong item to a store and they would sort it out, but I declined as the whole point of the online order was to avoid the shop, so they refunded me eventually for the missing item. I would be very hesitant to order from them again as the customer service is almost non existent!

Not Boots but WHSmith. I ordered some office bits which never arrived. I chased by email twice, then called. The answer message said staff are working from home and all queries must be made by email.

I have heard nothing. This was October 🧐

I thought his was going to be about how bad their app and website are. So slow and clunky. Takes ages for a page to load that I lose the will to love!

Having said that, I’ve never had an issue with delivery so I do think that is weird.

Exactly the same. Placed a £60 on 27th nov. I have had an email saying it’s been dispatched and it hasn’t arrived, should have been here last week. The tracking doesnt work for my parcel number on their website. Can’t get through to customer service, email hasnt been answered.

It’s Xmas presents so I’m a bit stressed.

It's Royal Mail not Boots. Royal Mail have huge backlogs. I'm waiting on multiple John Lewis parcels despatched via Royal Mail 16 days ago!

I'm still waiting on boots, paid for next day delivery but they split the order so only 2 things arrived. Now I have no idea when the others will come. That is poor service. At least send an update to advise customers on their remaining products. Thanks for the number, I'll be calling later

Royal mail have been shit since the first lockdown in our area. Parcels take up to a month to be delivered, even letters take about 2 weeks.

Have to say I have not had any problems with Royal mail. Things coming within usual times. My boots order was apparently split into two boxes for some odd reason ( it was perfume and its gift bag , so no idea why they would do that) . Boots say both boxes despatched on same day. The gift bag box arrived in 3 days and the perfume box is still showing not received on tracking 10 days later ...
I have ordered and received several other items via Royal mail since..
