What's on your DC's lists this year?

DD(7) picked up an Argos book yesterday that has a Christmas list section in so if course she decided to write one today.

On it she has written:
A medium tall dolls pram
A dolls set with nappies, 2 spoons and toys
A dolls bouncy chair
Chocolate
A bath bomb with a toy inside.

I was quite surprised as she kept showing me things in the book so I was dreading what she was going to write but there was nothing from there on it 🤣

Just goes to show it's not necessarily the fancy stuff they're after!

Are you talking about the shark spinner knee board? We got last year and any time DS used it he ended up face planting the tarmac. We had to get rid of it in the end when he cut the face off himself

Mine haven’t set foot in a real shop since March and it’s fascinating (to me) how little they want this year.
Usually I have loads of suggestions when relatives ask for ideas but this year they can’t think of much, or fancy things that are long discontinued (Lego) or slightly fantastical.

I let them loose on the Smyths website today to get some ideas and most of what they were interested in was out of stock.

I feel your pain @FoxInABox, youngest is simple enough but 14yo DS wants a gaming PC! Smaller/Less gifts with bigger price tags 🙄

@thelegohooverer we're the same, I never made the connection either but that's a good point.

Neither of my children ever ask for much - they’re a nightmare! DD particularly as her birthday is just before Christmas.

DS 6 has asked for a globe, a jet pack, a nerf gun (only because friends have been talking about them at school, he doesn’t know what one is) but not much else. He’s getting a pinball game, some more magnatiles and prob stuff like snap circuits and science kitchen kits and books.

DD(6) would like PK XD pyjamas (PK XD is an online game for young children. There is no such thing as PK XD pyjamas!) And an LOL doll.

DS(3) wants Frozen pyjamas and a slinky spring. Also, absolutely everything he sees, but he forgets about it as soon as its out of sight.

What DS aged 3 has come up with on his own for his Christmas wish list:

A gold telescope (like pirates use apparently)

Wellies that have lights that flash when he walks,

A new drinking bottle- has to be blue, red and green and have his name on it.

I love reading these - especially the little ones!!

Woah now I want a colour changing phone case!

DS 5 - a new bike. Luckily I got my hands on an Islabike Beinn 20 but it cost just under £500! He wants everything he has seen in TV but he will get some lego and a few board games too.
