please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

For schleich can recommend toysandlearning.co.uk

We have all the horse range, big farm and DS has the dinosaurs.

Does anyone want a Victoria secrets code?

BabyClam · 15/11/2020 17:52

I have a boden code I won't use:

@NotEnoughTime

I have cracked and bought a real Oodie for my DS (sounds like a creature from Star Trek/Dr Who).

I got £25 off so that was a blessing. It looks really good quality and has had some excellent reviews so I''m hoping it will last him for at least 50 years.

Can you please link? Thx
Whenasuitcasejustwontdo · 15/11/2020 18:03

Thanks, PostPopper. I'm trying to buy some of the sewing kits so maybe they class as craft kits. Thank you anyway!

thaegumathteth · 15/11/2020 18:03

@CupoTeap I'd imagine it's just on the oodie site

JoHo123 · 15/11/2020 18:03

@Penguinbeaver You have literally just described me. The travel cup is a good call. I use mine around the house as it means it doesn’t get spilt and it’s getting a battering with all our outdoor lockdown activities.

The Five Minute Mum book is a really good call and I’ve heard good things about it.

Sorry, no great ideas from me but the two previously suggested are excellent. Funnily enough, I was given my Secret Santa allocation last night. I will laugh so much if I get The Five Minute Mum (and be really pleased)

Could anyone please recommend a bargain multi purpose drill please? Something that's a good all rounder. Thank you!

CarrotVan · 15/11/2020 18:41

I made the banana bread mix as muffins today. It’s too dry so added some milk. It would have benefited from an egg for extra rise. I added some granola to the top because I like it

Kids say it’s good

@SpamIAm is there a website for flying tiger? I was convinced there was but can't find it anywhere - those trees are JUST I'm looking for!
SpamIAm · 15/11/2020 18:54

@Amazonmulu there was but it only worked for about 2 people and then it got taken down.

NotEnoughTime · 15/11/2020 18:56

CupoTeap It is on the Oodie website Smile

DinosaurOfFire · 15/11/2020 19:07

@Lockdownlumpy My son who is 3.5 loves playing with his sisters schleich and has some of the dinos himself too, so I think they'll be long lived here- he has chosen some of the dinos and eldrador creatures for his list this year. He is much younger than your son though- I think if your son likes to play with figures etc then he will enjoy the Schleich set, I am waiting for my DS to be a bit older before I add to his collection with vehicles as I think they are aimed at older boys. 7 is an idea age really for them.

bookish83 · 15/11/2020 19:08

@Amazonmulu

They are bottle brush trees, ebay have them.

I think I already know the answer is no but is there ever a way to get free postage from George (Asda)? Don't have a store anywhere near me.
