please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Open double square brackets
No space
Paste link
Space
Name of link
No space
Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

Thanks @Notlongnow1! I’ll give Tesco a try.

Puffalicious · 14/11/2020 11:42

Looking for decent but cheap wireless earphones. DS2 got very pricey Samsung buds (£140 pricey!) for his birthday yesterday (the joy of teens) and DS3 age 8 is constantly trying to steal them! I thought I'd buy him some cheap ones for Christmas, like £20 cheap since his Xmas request is a Switch!Hmm

PinkDaydreams · 14/11/2020 11:46
@PinkDaydreams it was me 👋🏻! Thank you! They are so cheap! After all the lovely links and tips from yesterday, I looked into it and yes they do fit but I've decided against them as I think he'd get too angry and frustrated as trying to join them together (he gets mad enough when there's a derailment!). So I'm going to stick to the hunt for the wooden ones with the magnets on the front...however because they are so cheap I might see if I can grab a couple just to play with for out and about Grin
I might do the same myself, pick up a couple to go in his bag for when we are eventually allowed back out and socialise again!!

Many thanks for the slippers suggestion i’m off to check out all the suggestions now

RJnomore1 · 14/11/2020 11:59

This is all it says (photo) I haven’t tried it but it doesn’t say hampers.

Also for the person looking for stocking gifts for their friend, space NK has 3 for 2 on shopping fillers just now and there’s some lovely things in there

@mummyof2boys30 just a warning about Disney+ If you have already had a free trial you won’t qualify for the offer even if you change email addresses. My tech savvy dh tried a few things to try and take advantage of the offer but couldn’t get it to work.

mogtheexcellent · 14/11/2020 12:06

theres a lady on ebay who makes outfits for Lottie dolls at a reasonable price. Shes now making outfits in Christmas fabric which make nice additions to a Dec 1st box or advent calendar. I have a couple of outfits for DDs stocking. If you email her she will make a school uniform in your school colours.

TheLastStarfighter · 14/11/2020 12:10

@Puffalicious how about these ones from Typo?

keeganface · 14/11/2020 12:20

The stocking fillers I ordered from Typo have just arrived. I'm really impressed. Wish I had ordered a few bits for myself now.

ktsc89 · 14/11/2020 12:32

@Puffalicious I have enacfire - can buy off amazon - after lots of recommendations. I used for running before I fell pregnant and the morning sickness took over!

Puffalicious · 14/11/2020 12:34

Thelaststarfighter perfect! Typically I just ordered loads from Typo the other day! Well, just need to order more to get it up to the £30!

lolarabbit · 14/11/2020 12:35

On the cake mixes topic (sorry if it's been done to death now), I'm not sure what in the ingredients could be rancid. Only the dry ingredients are included, any fat/milk/egg and in this case fresh banana you add yourself. Haven't made that particular mix (I will despite the email) but the cranberry oat biscuits were great.

Purpleheadgirl · 14/11/2020 12:47

For anyone looking for family Xmas pyjamas studio seem to have a couple of ranges.

icanboogieboogiewoogie · 14/11/2020 12:53

@TheLastStarfighter If you're looking for GF recipes try looking up Becky Excell. Her gf recipes are brilliant. (Apologies for the brief derailment.)

FrenchieMum2Be · 14/11/2020 13:06

Thanks for all the posts! My contribution:
Wonderbly have free delivery and £5 off their books with the code SECRETSANTA. Valid till end of day today 14th November.

Has anyone spotted a bargain 6 or 10 week subscription for Radio Times?

ScrollEatSleepRepeat · 14/11/2020 13:16

Lakeland and Hotel Chocolat codes attached!

I love reading these threads, this is the first year I've not bought anything from it and it feels very odd! My best buy from last year was the Yankee Outlet melt diffuser, I still use it every single day! And the earbuds (were they T23 tor something?) we all bought - still use them every day Smile

I still like reading what everyone is buying and living vicariously!

You very nearly got a picture of my cat there instead of the codes Grin I'll take £50 for her, she's a bargain Wink

onedayatatime73 · 14/11/2020 13:24

We have moved house and I have somehow managed to lose everything I bought in the Lisa Angel sale. So upset. Anyone remember if there's another one before Christmas?

FireflyGirl · 14/11/2020 13:26

@FrenchieMum2Be keep an eye on buy subscriptions.com, that's who usually do the offer. I ordered mine back in July when it was 6 issues for £1. They have done that offer in November before, but it's not on at the moment.

FrenchieMum2Be · 14/11/2020 13:29

Thanks @FireflyGirl

JoanneCofton · 14/11/2020 13:34

Pandora have free delivery on all orders until Monday

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 14/11/2020 13:35

My DD is a bit obsessed with Doc McStuffins. Has anyone seen a large cuddly Lambie toy, like the one in this photo? I can only find small ones, and mostly on E-bay!

@yafilthyanimalandahappynewyear

Noooooo!! I can't believe it I questioned myself about buying the Viking bundle or just the longship and in the end just got the longship ordered it last week and delivered yesterday. It's now set for a return so I can get the reduced bundle.

EvilHerbivore · 14/11/2020 13:38

The NSPCC letters to Santa have just opened for this year - they are lovely, I get DSs one every year

minsmum · 14/11/2020 13:44

Are there any Matalan codes I am buying my Ds birthday present and as usual have left it to the last moment
