I'd rather move heavily pregnant than recovering from labour with a newborn, I have to say!

I used one of those foot spas with a rolly bit for the arch of your foot the night before DS was born. Don't know if it did anything, but might be worth a try? I'm very jealous Envy you're feeling so well. I'm already knackered and uncomfortable, and I'm only 6 months today!!

My gym opened on Monday, so I've been swimming 3 mornings this week. They've limited the pool to 6 people per 1 hour slot, and you have to stay in your own lane. Seems to be working. It just feels so good to be able to do some actual exercise rather than ambling along on a walk because my hips hurt if I go any faster.

WreckTangled · 02/08/2020 12:05

We were going to go out but the dc were bickering, shouting and screaming so I said we're not going now. They came and apologised but I said we still weren't going, DH thinks I'm mean but I'm sticking to it. So fed up of them screaming all the time.

FireflyGirl · 02/08/2020 14:23

I'd go out and leave them all to it, Wreck Wink

I don't think you're mean - going out is a treat. Screaming and shouting is not acceptable, so the consequence is they lose the treat. Plus, if they started while you were out, it would ruin it for you.

I'm trying to teach DS that you can't get back whatever you have lost just by saying sorry (particularly if the punishment is because you fired nerf bullets at the cat Hmm!)

WreckTangled · 02/08/2020 14:32

Yes same here! I appreciate the apology but they've got to learn not to do it in the first place.

Current situation here 🍷

Not sure what would be the best outcome for you Hairspray but I have my fingers crossed it goes smoothly either way!

Amazing haul most

Agree with sticking to the punishment Wreck. My mum always did and we all (me, dsis, cousins) learned quickly to behave for her because she didn't give in just because you said sorry! dad was a sap and never punished anyone for anything though

I forgot to add the pic earlier 🙄

With DDOG we're hoping to get a second opinion from MILs vet who is amazing, and if he says to remove the eye then we will.
He's coping amazingly well but if it's bothering him it's best to remove it.

We're in Fort William today / overnight. Going to be honest, I'm not massively loving campervan life but it is nice to be away.
We went to Glencoe visitor centre today and they had Christmas cards on sale so I picked some up - I sense a bit of a theme for me recently, what do you think? Xmas Grin

Coo cards! ❤️❤️

I was so incapacitated due to being enormous and very achey in late pregnancy, that I'd prefer to move after, I think!

Ultimately, you're not going to be involved in shifting stuff anyway, and as long as you've labelled the boxes by room / contents, somebody can get it to the right place!

You're not going to have a choice with it, so whatever way it happens will work for you! 😁

Our kids are a pain like that too sometimes. DS is worse than DD for screeching, mind you. DD is a crier!

Mr Frog was lurking in the weeds I was pulling out today, so I took him back to the pond. Where there are some very odd grub / larvae things with a skinny body, a bit caterpillar-like and then a thinner tail, of about equal length to their body. Not a clue what they are!

I have loads of the bristly flowers opening up too. They're lovely!

Hoverfly larvae fluffy! So ugly but hoverflies are vital pollinators.

Love the coo cards crazy

Quarter done (if we ignore the back stitching)

Most I love that it looks really beautiful. Makes me feel festive

NoWordForFluffy · 02/08/2020 15:39

Ahhh. They're rat-tailed maggots which are hover fly larvae. Interesting!

OP posts:
NoWordForFluffy · 02/08/2020 15:40

Oops. Didn't read your message before posting, Most. I'm impressed you knew that. I had to Google!

It's the hover flies pollinating our chillies in the greenhouse!

NoWordForFluffy · 02/08/2020 15:41

I'm very impressed with your speed, Most, I'm lagging behind with mine! It's so beautiful. Can't wait to do mine of the same 'stable' once I've had my birthday!

OP posts:
Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 02/08/2020 15:42

It's only because we had lots in our pond fluffy so I looked it up :)

NoWordForFluffy · 02/08/2020 17:26

Our pond is a larvae haven! 😂

WreckTangled · 02/08/2020 17:28

I brunt myself on the oven. I don't have any sudpcreme. I put it under hot water for a five minutes but it's still blistered ☹️

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 02/08/2020 18:19

I assume you mean cold water wreck?!

Mrsmadevans · 02/08/2020 18:37

Afternoon everyone Smile
Crazy lovely views and the Coo cards so sweet Smile
It looks absolutely breathtaking there Smile
I totally agree with you if the eye is causing Ddog2 to suffer then it is best to get it taken out especially as he is unfortunately blind in it already Flowers
Most & Fluffy your veg is absolutely wonderful all your hard work coming to fruition Smile
Wreck l totally agree with you re the disciplining your Dc. I watched a video the other day of my DD1 being nasty to my DD2 when they were about 2 and 3. We went into the kitchen and Dd1 spotted some chocolate & wanted it , l told her no because she had been nasty to her sister & she said 'sorry , sorry' . I am glad to say l said no and didn't give in Grin all those years ago lol, hope your burn is ok too ouch!
Fluffy Froggy went a courting he did ride ohh hoo Grin he's lovely !
Firefly well done on the swimming , it's so healthy for you , non weight bearing, excellent stuff Smile
Hairspray so long as you and baby Spray are healthy then don't worry it will all come out in the wash Flowers
Boot l thought the same as you , l don't think l would want to move while still carrying , let the others do it l say ! Grin
Have been to Mum's , off tomorrow our saviour Dd1 ,
the naughty one Grin is doing them for us to have a break tomorrow , she didn't turn out too bad after all Smile

WreckTangled · 02/08/2020 19:35

Yes definitely cold not how BlushGrin it doesn't hurt right now but I bet it will when I have a shower in the morning...

Morning!

I went to bed early last night. I was so tired I felt sick. I feel a bit more human now, thankfully.

I can't be arsed with work. That Monday feeling! 😂

OP posts:
NoWordForFluffy · 03/08/2020 07:06

Your burn sounds nasty, Wreck. How is it this morning?

OP posts:
pussycatinboots · 03/08/2020 07:17

Morning.
Woke up at 3.15 for a pee, then DH started snoring🤬 so I got up and made a Brew and sent the cats up to bounce on him/sit on his face😹😈
The cats went to sleep on the bed with him.
Epic Fail.🤦‍♀️

Wreck I managed to burn my wrist on top of an old burn. It'll sting like a bastard this morning in the shower. You could try cling film around it, but it fell off mine.💦

Morning everyone 😀
@NoWordForFluffy 💐🤗 won't be long now, keep on going, you will be in your new job soon and working from home all the time 😃
Wreck looks painful sweetheart, l always cover my burns now , since l had a massive one last year on my left arm and it was awful. Kept it covered with a dressing can't believe it but no scar 🤗
Boot it's not much fun getting up that early. Pity about the cats not avenging the snoring DH 🙄 have to say it's sounds typical of the little darlings swines 😂
Day off today courtesy of Dd1 bless her patient kind heart 💓
Off to Merthyr Cyfartha park 😃
