I just noticed we only have 20 posts left and I'm off to the allotment! So here is thread 7!

70 🤢 about the fly.
We semi-regularly swallow knats here but I think my glasses have always protected my eyes.

I'm glad you said about the photoshopped estate agent skies. I've noticed it a few times as we're looking at houses online all the time and DH thought I was being daft.

CrazyBaubles · 19/07/2020 10:41

It's bloody boiling here. We've driven to Cardiff so DH can return something to the camping shop he loves 🙄
I was going to pop in to The Range next door in search of a tea pot but the queue to get in is mad so I've abandoned that plan and am waiting in the car instead.

So much wildlife! (Zoom in for ducklings!) ❤️❤️

Morning everyone.

Bit overcast here, and very blowy. :(

Hope you're feeling better 70 Flowers
Hate when flies try and fly into my eyes/ears/mouth whilst running. Hmm

Great job Most it's looking lovely Smile

Have a good day bbqing Wreck, yes sunbathing is my kind of thing too!

Enjoy Wetlands Fluffy It looks fab and lovely photos too. Once when Wards were selling a house for us we asked them about photoshopping, and they said, and I quote, "The sun always shines with Wards" Grin

Hope you have a good day at MumBobs Mrs

We're home now, via Sainsbury's for a veg top up / maximising Nectar points by buying a carrot and a banana for the bonus points on DH's card / buying party food for DS' birthday on Friday!

The dry darked on washing is dry and in and our bedding, which hadn't quite finished before we left, is out. It's dry, sunny and breezy so will dry by the time the kids are in bed.

Just been out blackberry picking in the rain, totally soaked but had a right laugh Smile

Lovely veg Fluffy, hope to pick my peas tomorrow and pod them for dinner.

NoWordForFluffy · 19/07/2020 15:21

We still only have a handful of ripe blackberries. They're on the turn though!

I got about 4kg the other year.

Did you day you're in the SE, Marshmallow? You've got our weather from yesterday today.

^^Say.

Autocorrect changed that way after I'd typed it. It's illiterate.

MarshmallowManiac · 19/07/2020 15:35

Yes I am Fluffy, we had 27 yesterday but drizzly rain all day today. Sad

MarshmallowManiac · 19/07/2020 15:36

4kg wow Fluffy have you got them in your garden?

NoWordForFluffy · 19/07/2020 16:05

We have a few. But we also go to Formby Woods and there are loads at the allotment too (including the entrance road, but very few of us see them as most people drive!).

OP posts:
MarshmallowManiac · 19/07/2020 16:15

I haven't got any in my garden as it is not too big, so I think it would overtake it. But if I had a bigger garden I would love to have berries in it! We usually get them from in and around the park, and from a nearby street. We are always keeping an eye out for berries on our walks Grin

MarshmallowManiac · 19/07/2020 16:16

That's lucky for you that they are all in their cars! Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 19/07/2020 16:17

Oh, our garden is quite small. But we squeeze loads of food stuff into it!

Not enough though, hence the allotment!

OP posts:
MarshmallowManiac · 19/07/2020 16:28

We used to have an allotment when we lived in Ireland, think I will put my name down for one. What do you grow in your garden Fluffy Smile

NoWordForFluffy · 19/07/2020 16:41

We have strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, tomatoes, herbs, peppers, chillies, cucumbers and two lemon trees (lots of baby lemons, but none which are full grown yet; we've only had them a year).

This is the salad section taking over the world, inch by inch! 🥒 🍅

OMG that's fabulous Fluffy, love your salad section too! How do you fit everything in? We have tomatoes, carrots, courgettes, peas, and broccoli. Looking to enlarge my collection, as this is the first year in this house Smile

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 19/07/2020 16:53

I am planning to train a thornless blackberry against our back fence next year so it shouldn't take up much room :) We have a tower for our strawberry plants too which saves a lot of space :)

pussycatinboots · 19/07/2020 16:54

I'm still struggling with fluffys 10 inch in the bedroom 😲😲if only🙏🏻

MarshmallowManiac · 19/07/2020 16:59

That sounds good Fluffy would take up a lot less room, might have to search them out, never heard about a strawberry tower before! Grin

MarshmallowManiac · 19/07/2020 17:40
