Why it's dated , quite cheesy but very funny Smile

FireflyGirl · 18/07/2020 22:16

In the current climate, I think most households have had their own version of Stir Crazy.

(Disclaimer - don't know what the show is actually about. Could be a CV themed Big Brother, or cooking programme...)

French knots Fluffy? I don't think I've ever successfully done one.

Thank you MrsMad. I'm feeling a little better but will be giving in and going to bed soon.

I don't know what Stir Crazy is Firefly

Mrsmadevans · 18/07/2020 22:20

It's a filim

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 18/07/2020 22:21

No idea what is going on but firefly's gnome in a mask sounds pretty cool even if it is not a thing 😂

FireflyGirl · 18/07/2020 22:21

I'm hungry again...

Usually, we eat tea at about 5.30-6, and then I don't eat again until breakfast the next day. I'm mentally inventorying the cupboards to decide what I can have for supper!

I'd go with toast, but Morrisons decided not to substitute my missing loaf with any other loaf of bread Hmm

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 18/07/2020 22:22

I will have to look it up once I get some time to myself Mrs.

CrazyBaubles · 18/07/2020 22:22

DH and I watched a film about Pearl Harbour called Midway this evening which was ok. Had Luke Evans in it which makes me 😊 as hes from the same place as me.

Mrsmadevans · 18/07/2020 22:22

Crazy you are feeling so much better you said it thrice Grin
Glad you are feeling better Flowers

CrazyBaubles · 18/07/2020 22:24

lol I don't know what's going on, it keeps saying my posts won't load then they appear two or three times 🙄

Question for cross stitchers - wooden or plastic hoops? And what size would be large enough to work a decent chunk of pattern on but still be easy to hold?

FireflyGirl · 18/07/2020 22:24

I haven't been able to find a gnome in a mask, but there is a YouTube video on how to make a mask for your gnome...

Mrsmadevans · 18/07/2020 22:24

Dh is starting to look for filims of a Sat night !
Saturday night at the movies Grin

CrazyBaubles · 18/07/2020 22:25

Ah that sucks Firefly. My choices are usually bread based in that situation. Do you have crackers and some cheese? Cereal maybe?

NoWordForFluffy · 18/07/2020 22:26

Firefly, those 'no sub' ones make me Hmm Like there was no other loaf in the shop. Nonsense!

Gnome in a mask? Not quite Snakes on a Plane for catchiness!

Is it some sort of fetish? Grin
NoWordForFluffy · 18/07/2020 22:26

Oh, some nights I just need more food. I'd be upset with no bread though!

That is a right pita Fire FGS they could have put rolls in !

NoWordForFluffy · 18/07/2020 22:28

Crazy, bamboo for me. I find my 12 inch a bit big sometimes. I've got a 10 inch upstairs, but haven't used it yet. I must get it out.

Speaking of inches...that bloody Viagra ad is on again. I detest whimsicalling of songs!

I had cheese & onion sarnies tonight Grin
My breath though Grin

FireflyGirl · 18/07/2020 22:29

I got 12 inch hoops, Crazy, which are big enough allow me to work on a full section at a time of my pattern, but I wouldn't say they were easy to hold.

8 or 10 inch would have been better.

Plastic ones don't have the little screw to tighten them, so I find it easier to put the Aida on the plastic ones, but the wooden ones are usually cheaper.
