Main event:
Turkey
Ham
Pigs in blankets
Chestnut stuffing
Roast potatoes
Roast parsnips
Carrot and swede mash
Red cabbage
Sprouts
Gravy

Christmas pudding with thick cream

All followed by a lie down in a darkened room. What's everyone else eating?

Just the two of us on Christmas day.

Beetroot gravadlax and caviar blinis

Turkey ballotine with pheasant, partridge and pigeon plus chestnut sausagemeat stuffing, all wrapped up in pancetta. There will be loads, but it makes the best sandwiches ever. Plus roast potatoes, roast carrots, roast parsnips, sprouts, bread sauce, cranberry and clementine sauce.

Blackberry amaretti trifle with muscat wine, pistachios and crystallised violets.

I am really really looking forward to it. Have friends coming Boxing Day for scallops with parsnip puree and hazelnuts then beef wellington, dauphinoise potatoes and purple sprouting broccoli, mocha chocoflan for afters.
