I've got a basket full of silly Christmas things at George (ASDA) but cant find any sort of discount. Worried that I'll order it and then it'll all drop next week!

PinkJam · 24/11/2019 17:50

@Maranello You’re very welcome Smile

John Lewis have reduced the 2019 Apple iPad 10.2 32GB to £299

catanddogmake6 · 24/11/2019 17:58

@IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts, there are a number of star gazing apps. I don’t know which one is best but if you google stargazing app lots come up. Also this article lists its top 6. I guess looking out the window will work if you’re lucky enough to be facing the right way with a clear uninterrupted view but even then you might struggle with the angle (and possible light reflection from your house or the neighbours). I just stay inside and send DH out and make the hot chocolate for after.
Tried to buy a John Lewis Edgar today after having seen several on Friday and several places were out with no intention of restocking and it’s out of stock online. Grrr - DD mentioned it for the first time on Friday but now it’s sold out it’s the end of the world. I’m most cross there are lots on eBay for more than double. Price gouging on Children’s toys at Christmas always seems particularly reprehensible to me.

Handsnotwands · 24/11/2019 18:13

Hello bargain hunters. I’d love a couple of suggestions, firstly cute Kwai type stationery for DD, fear I’ve left it too late to order from overseas.

Secondly I need a secret Santa gift for a man, he’s very clever and very funny. Likes games, also something disgustingly crass and tasteless would also do. £10 ish

Thanks in advance for any help :)

@PinkJam thanks for fat face tip. I’ve been dithering for a while over a dress and got a great price.

mummyof2boys30 · 24/11/2019 19:33

Any discount codes or where can I get boys colours in chillys bottles. Or is there a cheaper make. Just for 2 kids to bring to school

Lovemusic33 · 24/11/2019 19:57

Does anyone know if “naked marshmallows” do any Black Friday deals? I know I bought from them last year but can’t remember if it was Black Friday of closer to Christmas, looking to buy 2 toasting kits but £22 seems a bit steep. Or are there any similar company’s anyone can recomend?

appleblossoms · 24/11/2019 20:00

Long term lurker here. Have used these threads for years to watch for great deals.

Thank you for the Lakeland code. Had things in my basket unsure whether to click go. Figured if the code worked it was a sign. Grin

Gustavo1 · 24/11/2019 20:02

Was in tesco earlier and they had the really big boxes of Thornton’s Christmas chocs for £5. Don’t know if they’re available online but they are the boxes that the Thornton’s site have on for £12 each. Even though they’re 342 on Thornton’s, Tesco is still a better deal. I only bought one box and regret it massively 😂

princessbear80 · 24/11/2019 20:03

I’ve bought the milk frother and also an espresso machine to go with it, plus some pods. Can anyone recommend a chocolate shaker to finish off a cappuccino as the last little extra for DP’s present? Thanks

RickOShay · 24/11/2019 20:11

Sorry to have missed it, but could somebody give me the Adidas code please?
Ds2 is very keen on the tracksuit!

Redwinestillfine · 24/11/2019 20:16

I have just ordered 20 cans of craft beer for DH's advent calendar ( I'll have to buy 4 more) for £19.90 from flavourly using code AFF122019 (Original price £67.40). No subscription, just a one off, free delivery, ooh and two beer glasses thrown in. I have 24 reindeer paper holders for them which I got off Amazon last year as a DIY advent calendar.
