Just spotted Joseph Joseph kitchen multi utensil has now gone down to £6.99 on John Lewis (still £10 everywhere else), I actually bought one for my DP for his birthday the other week and it was surprisingly a massive hit!! It was to replace his trusty silicone spatula which was looking tired after years of frying, and he really loves this new one as he’s really into keeping stuff minimal in kitchen (a special feature he pointed out is that when cooking eggs using the spatula , if they become attached you can separate them with the ‘cutting edge’ 😆 , but I’ve also been using it and find it very useful!!)
I’d actually already bought another 2 for people for Christmas who like cooking , so have reordered at the cheaper price! Ordered along with a lavazza milk frother- thank you to that pp who mentioned! I actually already have one (bought for me by DP a few years ago as I loooove frothy milk) and use it at least twice daily 😆 I have frothy hot milk with my cereal each morning (yes I’m basically a child but honestly if no one has tried that with special k it’s so good!) and I also make chai lattes/ hot chocolares/ cappuccinos. I just mix the powder or whatever with boiling water, then top off with the frothy milk.
It is however sometimes a pain to clean- when I used normal milk it would smell so bad if even a tiny bit was left somewhere, now I only drink oat milk so I just clean it daily rather than after every single use 😆
Debating whether to give as a gift to DPs dad (he is forever bound to make DPs mum a cappuccino every single morning and he has to put it in microwave and then froth up so I feel like it would save him a lot of time, but DP says that since he never makes anything for himself it would not really be a good gift for him, but I say the gift of time is the greatest gift of all!!) or keep it for when my own frother inevitability gives up after years of overuse 😆
Also, I can’t remember whether I’ve already mentioned but Apple Watch 4s are currently reduced by £100 on amazon Black Friday deals, and I read on an article it’s unlikely to go down further, I bought one for DP the other day as he’s been after one! Apparently there’s not much of an upgrade between 4 and 5, but 4 is a big upgrade from 3, so if you’re wanting one it’s definitely bargainous to go for 4!
