@Luxplus I find kinetic sand hoovers up really well. Primark do a really good bucket that has sandcastle moulds in. I think it was about £3 and has been played with for hours.

dancemom · 23/11/2019 09:20

Looking for an M&S code if anyone has one going unused? Could you PM please?

TreeLinedMotorway · 23/11/2019 09:26

I’ve just started a Hype lucky dip swap thread for anyone who’d like to join.

Happychappy33 · 23/11/2019 09:32

Hello all, great thread. We got the Tesco wooden train set for £7.50 so thank you to the pp that linked that.

Does anyone know if the notonthehighstreet 15% off is finished? I tried to order today and it isn’t working (the HAPPY15 code)

I may have some M&S codes later if anyone needs, I think it’s on till Monday

Kraggle · 23/11/2019 09:34

If you search magic sand on eBay you tend to get more for your money than the branded kinetic sand. They do kg bags for £5 or so.

woodwaj · 23/11/2019 09:38

@Happychappy33 not sure on the dates on the code but I saw one pp post it saying there was a £50 min spend so maybe that's it?

Happychappy33 · 23/11/2019 09:40

I was spending over £50 (darn cute baby gifts that I ‘need’) but it won’t work ☹️

suneetime · 23/11/2019 09:43

The milk frother is also at John Lewis for £19. I’ve had to pay £2 for click and collect but it’s in stock. Amazon says delivery is 1-2 months. Ignoring the fact I didn’t need one until I came on this thread Grin

CatLadyInTraining · 23/11/2019 09:44

Two more M&S codes:
3SYX-F8SR-DFZR-YG9D
3SRR-5WBR-ZK8G-YGKG

Themazeoflife · 23/11/2019 09:46

IWOOT code needed if anyone has one, I missed the last offer.

EvilHerbivore · 23/11/2019 09:47

@SlayingDragons I got DSs beanbags from rucomfy and they're big and good quality for the price

Luxplus · 23/11/2019 09:52

Thanks for the suggestions re kinetic sand Smile I accept its probably messy but we only have wooden floors so I think it will be fine. Boths dds love creative craft stuff so think we will get her a start up pack and some small bags of coloured sand

Thanks again Halloween Smile

Lemonysherbet · 23/11/2019 10:13

Thanks @imsorryiasked I was looking at this one earlier and thought it looked good

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 23/11/2019 10:13

@Luxplus Just be careful when cleaning the kinetic sand off wood - better to hoover than to sweep, as we found it would scratch our wood table when trying to brush it up - use a placemat or tablecloth like you would with paints! It's quite fun stuff, and doesn't dry out like play doh 👍

McSleepy · 23/11/2019 10:16

@Yeknom the code SANTA should get you 20% off at Joules. However they are releasing new Black Friday offers every few days so you may get a better discount if you can wait. Not sure how long the Santa code is valid for though.

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 23/11/2019 10:24

40% off at Typo sitewide

imsorryiasked · 23/11/2019 10:27

With the kinetic sand I always put a plastic table cloth on the floor and then you can just pick the cloth up and pour it back into the container when they're done.

doriana8 · 23/11/2019 10:32

m and co (clothes shop) has 25 % off, ending tomorrow, and free worldwide delivery.

Luxplus · 23/11/2019 10:32

Good idea regarding plastic cloth for floor and table. Will get 2 for this. The one we use for paint is not that useful Anymore

dancemom · 23/11/2019 10:32

Thank you @CatLadyInTraining for the M&S code

Mistressiggi · 23/11/2019 10:37

A big tray is good for sand or play doh, less likely to end up on the floor.

riotlady · 23/11/2019 11:22

Thank you for the info on bed socks!

Paperthin · 23/11/2019 11:27

Thank you to whoever posted about the BT Black Friday sale. Got some AirPods for £129 - reduced by £30. Means my DS will get something extra in his stocking so win/win.

mycatislickingherpaw · 23/11/2019 11:51

So I posted my M&S codes, then I needed one so a poster kindly gave it to me, and now I have more to post!

Long time lurker here, want to say thanks for the thread.

For those asking abut good games, Skyjo is great and is on an Amazon deal for £7.95 but nearly all claimed.
