What's everyone getting their teen girls?

Looking for ideas for a 12 and a 15 year old.
Both like makeup, but own no 'cool' brands (and I wouldn't know what these were!).
Again with clothes. They're not very fussy,. Will happily wear Asda/matalan etc but I'd like to treat them so something more special.
Any recommendations for a teen friendly subscription box?
Any gadgets ( a sproket has been mentioned). Dd2 needs a new phone so might go down that route.
They both enjoy reading so will be getting a good selection of new boots.
We usually do a family board game. I've been thinking about Catalan or Ticket to ride, but not sure where to start.
They both enjoy crafts and arty stuff. So I guess I can bulk it all out with some new paints and bits. I'm just stuck. Neither need anything and not have they asked for anything, despite being prompted numerous times.
Thank you :)

I’m going to make my dd’s a pamper box, so far I’ve got face & hair masks, cotton buds & pads, nail polish, moisturiser, pore strips, make up remover - any more ideas??

Puffinhead · 10/11/2019 14:45

@justyou, I was thinking of doing the same. What about face wash, blemish stuff, nail files/manicure set, body spray/lotion....?

Puffinhead · 10/11/2019 14:46

Flannel, eye mask, towelling head band - Primark is goo for those sort of bits and pieces

Justyou · 10/11/2019 14:53

Thank you - fab ideas

iamabox · 10/11/2019 15:06

There is currently 1/3 off Soap and Beauty products at Boots.

iamabox · 10/11/2019 15:07

Ffs.....Soap and Glory!!!!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 10/11/2019 15:30

Primark has some great little beauty items :

DD likes "random things" in her Advent .

I got some little cleansing puffs (they look like tiny slippers Xmas Grin ) , cleansing cloths ,
round silicone cleansing pads
they do plastic clear make-up boxes .( I have two in the bathroom)
Eyelash brushes (like in mascara)
Toe separators for painting

And : Cruelty Free make-up.

shirleyschmidt · 10/11/2019 15:36

You could check out Florence By Mills which is Stranger Things' Millie Bobby Brown's new skin/cos brand.
For makeup you can't go wrong with Makeup Revolution, or one of the Naked Palettes from Urban Decay.

BlameItOnTheVodka · 10/11/2019 21:06

@ Justyou i do this every xmas for my daughter, in addition to what you have i also add

mamabluestar · 11/11/2019 09:30

@ReadyPayerTwo Oh really, thats a bit rubbish, thanks for the information.

@Trewser I'm not sure if the comment about 11 being different to 13 is aimed at me? I know my daughter well and know what is to old for her. However, she has freely told me that she's not sure of the things/gadgets that might be out there that she might like. This thread has given ideas on lots of different things we can look into together.

TheTurnOfTheScrew · 11/11/2019 09:39

DD1 is nearly 13. She is currently deciding what to ask for from:
a Vans Jack Skellington backpack
adidas superstars
a Kindle
Doctor Martens
Some anime/manga stuff - probably the My Hero Academia books, and some Ghibli DVDs

Smaller presents are likely to be Lush products, a Costa voucher (this is a big hit with older teen nieces and nephews as they can treat a mate to lunch out), and a Stranger Things Tshirt.

I've also always put new socks and pants in both DCs' stockings, and oddly they now really looks forward to getting them more than anything (which does make me feel a bit we're the Cratchetts, but it's now family tradition).

Rubyroo73 · 11/11/2019 10:30

@sansou
Can I ask where you bought the cooic markers from please? My nearly 12 year old would love those! Thanks x

sansou · 11/11/2019 10:51

@Rubyroo73

mumontherun14 · 13/11/2019 17:23

Hiya. My DD is 12 will be 13 in Feb. She loves horse riding so has asked for a few small bits for that so I have been thinking of other ideas as well. She loves Harry Potter, Friends and Stranger Things. Chlothes wise she likes JD sports brands like North Face, Addidas, Vans and New Look.
I got her a Group on voucher for a teen make up session with some of my friends daughters in our city which I think she will like. (Could teach me a few things to lol)

Apart from that I've got her
Harry Potter pjamas
Housecoat & slippers
Stranger things monopoly
Horse books & stranger things book
Horse kit
Hoodie North face
Hoodie Addidas
Am also thinking about Vans trainers, a Fit bit watch, wireless headphones (not Apple), speaker, charger and perfume/toiletries/make up.

Other idea could be concert tickets if there's a show coming up they'd like to see?

xxxx
