What's everyone getting their teen girls?

Looking for ideas for a 12 and a 15 year old.
Both like makeup, but own no 'cool' brands (and I wouldn't know what these were!).
Again with clothes. They're not very fussy,. Will happily wear Asda/matalan etc but I'd like to treat them so something more special.
Any recommendations for a teen friendly subscription box?
Any gadgets ( a sproket has been mentioned). Dd2 needs a new phone so might go down that route.
They both enjoy reading so will be getting a good selection of new boots.
We usually do a family board game. I've been thinking about Catalan or Ticket to ride, but not sure where to start.
They both enjoy crafts and arty stuff. So I guess I can bulk it all out with some new paints and bits. I'm just stuck. Neither need anything and not have they asked for anything, despite being prompted numerous times.
Thank you :)

Yes I think so.
She'd had a Polaroid camera and loved it but often wouldn't have it with her.

The Polaroid app allows you to choose the frame on the print etc. and add things (no idea of terminology)

I'm getting my 15 yo DD urban decay makeup , lush bath bombs ' proper ' perfume and a camera . That's all she wants . She has point blank told me not to get her most of the shit I usually get her !! Actually she doesn't know about the Urban decay but I'm sure she'll love an eyeliner !

Oh and Lego

Ohyesiam · 07/11/2019 09:13

My 15 year old dd prizes Hollister sweatshirts, which are made of quite good quality cotton.
Make up from MAC or Elf
Bodies( or leotards to the middle aged)
Air pods

Nike hoody, Adidas trainers, tickets to see Russell Howard and tickets to gig - not sure who yet. Bath things, face masks, Costa voucher!

Celtic & Co are the premium brand for sheepskin stuff (they invented the original Uggs), but there are plenty of less expensive options.
Something like www.next.co.uk/G99108s12?dp=a&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIkMmY_-DX5QIVCLLtCh3KLwWjEAQYAiABEgIYJfD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds#966529

Can anyone suggest a good Lego set for Dd18? She hasn’t had Lego since she was small but used to love it.

Trewser · 07/11/2019 09:30

She loves Lego

Designerenvy · 07/11/2019 09:30

Justyou, what is she into ? Check to see if theres a lego set of that interest available ?
Lego do Stranger things, Simpsons , Harry Potter , starwars etc . Lots to choose from .

Designerenvy · 07/11/2019 09:32

Lego also have a Friends ( as in 90s sitcom) set also .

Justyou · 07/11/2019 09:35

Reading & history if that helps?? She loves anything Russian or Korean too Confused

Designerenvy · 07/11/2019 09:40

I know theres a brick set of the titanic , my son got it. Its pretty cool. It's not by lego , I think the brand is Oxford. It's great quality and very reasonably priced , probably €30.
That might cover the historical interest ?

Justyou · 07/11/2019 09:47

BarbedBloom · 08/11/2019 00:52

Huda beauty is popular but expensive. W7 on amazon do dupes and you can get a set of four palettes for £20. Sleek is another cheaper brand that has won some beauty awards, their highlight and contour palettes are pretty good. You can google dupes for high end products if you want your money to go a bit further. Cult Beauty is fantastic for their top 10 sections. I love makeup and beauty so let me know if I can help any further.

BarbedBloom · 08/11/2019 00:53

Oh and korean beauty and skincare is on amazon. I also love korean stuff, lived there for a while.

My 13 year old daughter is getting a couple of glass display cases for her fossils.

Igobacktoblack · 08/11/2019 01:57

Just marking place for such a good list of ideas.

Trewser · 08/11/2019 07:11

My 13 and 17 year old MIGHT look at the occasional piece of clothing from a shop, but they are both obsessed with vintage and depop. There's a vintage kilo sale near us in Jan and I'll get them both early bird tickets, 1 kilo of clothes each and lunch out. Grand total about 70 including a good lunch!
