I’ll start, I have 3, one in the conservatory, one in the living room and one in our bedroom. All small, 2 or 3 feet.

2; real one in the living room, fake one in the dining room.

Teacakeandalatte · 08/10/2019 20:25

I was going to say 1 in the loft too Grin
Actually we have one in the lounge and dd has one in her room.

EmmiJay · 08/10/2019 20:31

Two usually. One in the living room and one in the hallway. I think I'm going to be super extra this year and get both trees 8ft tall. squeal

TheWoollybacksWife · 08/10/2019 20:32

3 artificial ones. 1 in the living room, 1 in the dining room and 1 in the hall.

UtterlyUnimaginativeUsername · 08/10/2019 20:38

5! Do I win?

Sitting room, dining room (both large), and small ones in the three bedrooms.

I quite like christmas.

loverofchristmas · 08/10/2019 20:41

2, one in the hallway and one in the living room.

IDontDrinkTea · 08/10/2019 20:42

Two. One in the lounge and one in the bay window in the kitchen. I appreciate the kitchen is unusual, but a bay window just calls out for a tree doesn’t it

boys3 · 08/10/2019 20:44

5! Do I win?

Can pip you with a 4th bedroom Grin plus two in the garden, although one gets moved to the porch for christmas itself.

Raphael34 · 08/10/2019 20:46

Does everyone but me have more than 1 tree?? I thought I was xmas obsessed but I’m an amateur next to you lot

bagginses · 08/10/2019 20:49

Not enough!

One in living room, children have a tiny one each in their rooms and I am hoping for one in our new kitchen/ dining room although I did not consider christmas tree location when we designed it. Rooky mistake.

Dinosauratemydaffodils · 08/10/2019 21:01

4 last year. One in the sitting room (main one), a small one in the kitchen, one in the playroom and one on the mid floor landing just because.

We are gaining another one because my mum wants rid of hers as she says it's not the same without my df to put it up. Not sure where it's going to go though.

All artifical because I hate standing on pine needles and I think the children are a bit too small.

FurrySlipperBoots · 08/10/2019 21:05

Our real one goes in the living room. The only trouble with that is it goes in front of the French doors and there's no room to shut the curtains, so it gets really cold in there in the evenings! I also have a plastic one that has colour changing led needles or something. I used to have that in my bedroom and it was the pet's tree (couldn't have trusted them not to eat a real one!) No little critters at the mo though.

M0reGinPlease · 08/10/2019 21:57

One (always real), but I do decorate most of downstairs. We were going to get two last year and put one in the playroom but DC asked how Father Christmas would know which one was the 'right' one?! So we stuck with one. I do buy lovely fresh wreaths and boughs as well though.

Spied · 08/10/2019 22:01

2 artificial trees.
I 6ft white tree in living room (Last year first ever white one. At the time I wasn't sure but I actually love it.)
Small 2ft in dd's bedroom

WagtailRobin · 08/10/2019 22:47

Two, a big real one in the living room and an 8ft artificial one in the hallway.

Gingernaut · 08/10/2019 22:51

None

wonderstuff · 08/10/2019 22:59

So glad I read this. Previously we've had 1, never had space for more, just moved to a bigger house and have a kitchen with a bay window which just is crying out for one, so we'll have two. I was worried that was ott, but clearly not!
I've always had a crazy multi coloured approach to the tree, but can I continue that with 2 or should I now have a colour scheme?

Stompythedinosaur · 08/10/2019 23:37

This is my kind of thread!

We have a real one in the living room, fake one (twiggy birch style affair) in the dining room, another traditional fake one in the dc's bedroom and a small twiggy tree with glued on pompoms (lovingly made by the dc) in our bedroom. I also have a small tree on my desk at work.

I would like to add two small trees in pots around the front door but do thinks I am deranged.

Curious2468 · 09/10/2019 02:16

7ft rainbow tree in kitchen, 5ft normal tree in living room and 2ft rainbow trees in both children’s bedrooms :)

IJumpedAboardAPirateShip · 09/10/2019 02:45

I’ve only ever had one real tree as big as I can get it but reading this makes me want several!!!

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 09/10/2019 05:10

A big real one in the sitting room, a little real one (lives in the garden the rest of the year) outside the front door.

itsgettingweird · 09/10/2019 05:18

1 7ft pre lit one in the lounge. Replaced my old 5ft one. I thought I'd gone all posh but you lot put me to shame!

(I do live in a 2 bed flat though so space is limited).

Ds would love one in his room - I feel I maybe should let him!

Teacher22 · 09/10/2019 05:29

A real tree in the drawing room and a prelit twiggy one in the kitchen with differing colour schemes. I am getting excited thinking about them now!
