Alternative to the dreaded Roses/Quality streets

What's everyone buying as an alternative now the above seem to be getting worse by the year?

I hate Lindt too. I tend to go for Hotel chocolat as there's one just close to where I live and I'm lazy!

My favourite people get Paul a young chocs.

Godiva.

Niederegger.

Lindor Orange.

M&S Selection box (whatever I fancy).

Guerlian seashells etc.

Ferrero Rocher which both my daughters must have at Christmas.

Oh I forgot, we always buy dark chocolate truffles from Aldi, possibly also some champagne truffles from Aldi/M&S/Sainsbury’s, and if I find some bailey’s truffles I’m quite partial to those. After Eights are nostalgic for me so I usually can’t resist, plus last year we found some very good chocolate florentines at Aldi which I kept on buying until they went out of stock because i really, really liked them.

@DtPeabodysLoosePants there are some lovely glass bowls on the Oxfam website if you can't find any on your charity shop hunt.

We have a local chocolatier so will buy a box of their chocolates.
