Evening all! I'm not sure if this will be the last or the penultimate thread, but here goes!

I'm doing the upstairs deep clean. One room left to go, thank god!

All the boys are off today, we didn’t get to bed until 12. They’re watching some films whilst I sit with a Laszlo. FIL just called DH through SILs phone asking if the kids want to go to a pantomime with him tonight, I can’t believe him. After everything he’s done to us he’s going to say all these things and make me look like the bad one when I say the kids can’t go!. I honestly can’t stand the man!!

DS2 took a multipack of juice to his Christmas party, DD took Christmas cupcakes to hers, bought a bottle of Stella for the caretaker, I'm putting a big Christmas bow on it to wind him up because he doesn't like Christmas , bought a travel hot chocolate cup for DD, as she's got Taste the Difference Belgian dark hot chocolate as her special drink over Christmas, bought a chocolate and salted caramel Christmas cake for pudding after Christmas dinner, had a tomato and mushroom omelette and a hot chocolate for breakfast (not DD's ), just had sweet chilli chicken kebabs. 🎄🎅🎄🎅🍺🍫🍫😋🍅🍄🍫😋🍗

Our local veg man gave us a free box of veg that whilst perfectly useable, doesn’t look it’s best! Who Cares what it looks like! What a lovely thing to do

Gonna have to break my no wrapping Xmas presents on my birthday rule, as two deliveries are saying they’ll arrive on Xmas eve. Bless the couriers working so close to Christmas!

PSB I remember those days of the kids taking drinks or snacks! We used to do girl scouts and every other week was our turn to take something lol.

So I was able to reschedule my Iron Infusion. They've not called me to tell me when it will be yet but no longer on Monday at least. My carer is bleaching out my bathtub right now so at least that will be clean. I need to organize and clean up my kitchen a lot today too.

I might see if my carer can help me organize stuff little too. I'm already tired and it's only 2:40 pm so far haha.

Today is the Solstice and the full moon is tomorrow. Lots of powerful juju in the air! lol Also the time when folks act like lunatics so watch out for that guys

I have been so busy with cleaning, delivering presents & Cards. Shopping & the parents l have literally just sat down now ! I decided to buy some new curtains for the dining room 3 days before Christmas like you do 😄 have pics will show you them now . I love them tbh and l hate the ring things too. Lol , what do you think ? Will post this now and reply to your posts in a min, Dad is saying he is really ill but l know it is the depression and his cons told me we had to ride it out until he came good . There is nothing else I can do to help him . It is just a matter of time for his anti D's to kick in l hope they hurry up 🙄💊

Mrs - I love the curtains they are fab! You’re like the real life Mrs claus haha! Oh bless you, it must be horrible to watch but as you say unfortunately all you can do is ride it out my dear

Mrs I LOVE Those curtains. I feel for dad I really do. It's hard to feel better when you have depression. It takes a lot out of you. Does he physically seem to be more perky still at least?

Wheelie, Dad is not feeling better according to him , 'oh yes you are ', 'oh no l'm not' it's like panto here with him . I think he is slightly better though and thank you for the heads up re the transfusion taking a little time to work , The duvet is gorgeous l love it, will put on tomoz and take a pic to show you . Glad you have rearranged your iron infusion and your carer sounds a darling !

My Carer really is awesome! I'm sad she's gone for the day though. Now it's just me and the kids as Joe is off to work. So we're organizing and cleaning up a bit.

I've been reading most of the day today. Sometime this evening the other gifts for the children are going to be dropped off so that will be exciting. I figure I'll make them go to their room and shut the door so they can't see anything they are getting haha
