Jesus wept, I completely forgot about my usual 1pm cup of Xmas coffee. Better get my butt in gear and go make some!

Wheelie Adventure is a charity across the road from the school, they provide childcare and drop-in sessions after school and in the holidays. They have a games room, a crafting room, 2 games consoles, a kids' kitchen and a garden. They also run trips in the summer holidays.

Frange that's my dd's birthday too. I was where you were this time last year.

I need to get on with the pre-Christmas clean on Friday, I've decided. Before the trees go up. As long as I clean the windows of the lounge and dining room and do the woodwork of the lounge I'll be happy! I cleaned the woodwork in the dining room when we did the carpet the other week. Must remember to tell DH to vacuum behind the TV cupboard tomorrow! Get a head start on me!

I’ve made a start on one of the kitchen trees whilst dinner is cooking

I'm just testing my redcurrant gin. It's very nice. The plan is to use it in a prosecco cocktail.

I sorted my Christmas food order today and also found our favourite champagne at £15 off.

Dd is wiped by her ear and dh is delayed in uK by the weather - so I am taking advantage of the quiet to clear up after dinner Ns then knit like tomorrow is Christmas Eve!! Gotta get 3 final scarves finished....

Can I help Biddy? Off work anyway due to DM and handy/fast with the old knitting needles. I don't mind and it would give me a bit of focus.

Currently trying to ease this cough with hard boiled sweets, it’s really tickly which is what’s annoying me!

Picked DS2 up, had chicken and bacon pasta bake for supper, DS2's just fallen asleep in our bed, DD will go at 8.40. 😋🍗😴
