Morning! Brand new thread for the new week!

We’ve been in 3 shops, they’ve all completely sold out of baubles and Christmas lights 😂

Mrs - the asthma will not leave me alone at the moment, damn thing 😫
We have given up now my lovely and come home as nowhere seemed to have what we needed! We don’t have a Wilko here unfortunately, but I can get Wilko delivered here so I will definitely be shopping online later

I’m about to make coffee, and I’m rocking my festive llama lounge pants

I'm just back from the allotment and I ache like buggery after doing god knows how many squats while weeding between the beetroot! It looks so much better now and ready for winter.

I put 10 raspberry canes in the ground too, then mulched over the roots. I had to dig the area first though as it was compacted and rooty from the weeds we took out when we cleared. There's only about 8 - 10 feet of allotment that hasn't been dug over at least once now. Getting there!

I put 5 canes in the garden too, so we should have loads of raspberries at some point. 😁

I’ve ordered this sweet tree decoration, reminds me of my mum and dad :)

Wheels your tree looks amazing! I'm another lover of your kitties :) Tea is the drink here too, afternoon tea is tea alongside dainty food and cakes although in the 'north' they also use it for dinner.

acey yay for shopping! I'm glad your grandad is having a blast. As for Maverick if he acts interested in the tree? Fill up a squirt bottle and put it beneath the tree. If he tries to climb it give him a spray. Then he'll stay away. lol Is your asthma doing any better?

seafood Thank you so much for the explanation. My daughter and I drink tea the drink every afternoon about 4 pm and always have some biscuits with it and she likes to ask 'So are we having tea' and I'm like 'I have no clue I'll ask' lol

I am working on some cross stitch today. Going to be 4 candles sitting on Holly and it will say Merry Christmas above it. The candle are fun to do so I'm stitching them first haha

My grandad keeps calling me his ‘wee firecracker’ 😂

My asthma has been consistently bad today, so going to cook a roast dinner tomorrow instead. I’m currently being fat and eating a slice of white chocolate and strawberry cake, with a glass of chocolate milk

Addie is kicking away at the moment, some of them make me jump because they are so strong 😂

Lovely cross stitch, Wheelie. We had Yorkshire puddings for lunch, with roast lamb. Officially, you're supposed to have them with beef, but I'm from Yorkshire so don't feel constrained. I have them with every roast dinner, including Christmas hides from the mob . I also call my evening meal 'tea'.

Maybe Addie wanted a taste, Acey?

Well done on the raspberries, Fluffy. I started with one poundshop cane 5 years ago and have loads now. Think I shared a photo in the summer.

It was the village light switch on last night. They stopped it a couple of years ago because it used to be in the centre and there was too much traffic passing by, but they've moved to the hotel grounds. It was drizzling, but absolutely packed. They weren't expecting many people to turn out. There weren't enough food/drink marquees, the only bar and all the craft stalls were inside - people were queuing to get in. It was crazy. We managed to see Father Christmas and some donkeys??, had a bit of a wander round then came home for roast chestnuts and a glass of fizz. DH was worried I might be disappointed, but actually it was enough for DS. Plus, I got fizz

It's our first time with kittens at Christmas too but so far they seem to be doing really well with them with the help of the squirt bottle. The big kitties like to sleep beneath the trees lol

firefly if I can perfect them I think they'll be what I take to gatherings. Spread a little Yorkshire pudding love lol. My mom spent 3 weeks in the UK in the 80s so I think she'd really like them.

YAY for lights!! Last night was our town's switch on too! We missed it but I'll get hubby to drive us around tonight to get some photos! I'm very excited! Maybe I'll just do a video and share it with you all lol
