l am very pleased with the scarves , l know they can be bought cheaper but Joules stuff is so pretty . I really like this sort of style , sort of country style but feminine . Not that l am like that at all lol am a bit clumsy lol

Evening, I won't reply to everyone individually, but and to everyone who needs it!

I had a nosy at the ad, and it looks dodg to me... Are they actually brother and sister, or just playing brother and sister?

I haven't seen any decorations up in people's houses yet. The lights were switched on in the local city today, though, so it's coming

DS and I had a pottering day. He wanted to play outside, so I decided to take advantage and tidy the garden for winter. Went to put some of his toys in the storage box and couldn't work out why there were seeds over everything... Nope. Mouse poo No mouses though probably eaten by the cats

So I chucked the parasol and cleaned everything with bleach, then DS 'double checked' it in a bucket. He we got progressively more soaked, but happily played like that for the better part of an hour.

It's unseasonably warm here, in case you are worrying about my lack of parenting - I kept checking him, but he wasn't cold!

crazy I hope you get some good sleep tonight. Sounds like you need a break!

Mrs LOL I'm probably going to sleep in my chair tonight and really break it in that way haha. Right now I'm hanging out with Lilah and watching the Food Network

I really need to get the husband to take me out pokemoning this evening and I can see if I spy anymore decorations around and maybe take some pictures (because I'm a creeper) for you all lol

My husband likes to say 'omg don't look in their windows!' and I'm like 'If they didn't want people to see their trees they wouldn't put them in their windows right?'

Off to bed now all. DH has made me a cup of tea and some toast because he felt so guilty about today. We’ve packed for the cottage and will be leaving tomorrow day time due to the drive. Hopefully the boys feel a bit better, they have settled and slept through until now which can only be a good sign. I keep checking their temperatures because I’m so worried and have put Clem in with us so I can watch him throughout the night.

Morning! Nearly an hour until I need to get up. 😴😴😴😴

Morning! Haven't had a chance to catch up really. In fact I'm currently sitting on the loo as it's the first time I've stopped 🤣 working again today to make up for the Monday I'll need off for Lapland. Still no snow forecast before we go. This mild weather is stopping me feeling really festive but looks like it'll be cold after today.

Change of plans for today. Gas man can’t give me a time slot as he’s had to fit me in last minute, so I need to wait in for him. If he comes early I will go to my dads and check for any post and anything left behind, if not I will go tomorrow.
Need to sort the kitchen as there’s boxes everywhere!

Mrs - I’m so glad I have my grandad here too he told me this morning he’s staying for the foreseeable yay we joked about how I lived with him as a kid, and now it’s his turn to live with me it’s glitter flamingo bath bomb time tonight, I’ll put a pic up later ahhhh twins that’s so sweet! I can’t wait for Addie to be here . We don’t have Wilko here, I wonder if they ship to us in Ireland, I will be ordering a flamingo plush if they do

Fluffy l bought cards against humanity from Amazon today , they were down to 18.75 so l nabbed them asap , they never seem to go down so DD2 will be thrilled

It's boiler / rad day today. 😁 I ran across the road to give the plumber the keys in case he wants to start while we are dropping the kids off at school! Handy he's so close!

I've got another interview at the firm who didn't want me for one role but asked me to apply for this one. The date is being sorted today. Haven't heard on the other yet!

Just got in the car, sick bags and all!. None of us have been sick yet and the boys are asleep. Fingers crossed we love this cottage!.

The DC were in mufti for Children in Need, I got them there early to get their faces painted, neither of them wanted it! They both bought Pudsey ears though, so CIN have made £7 out of me this year.

Today it actually is Friday!! (Half the office have been getting mixed up all week - we're all shattered).

I managed to make a few phonecalls last night, and do the laundry, but it means DM and DSIL (and baby DNiece) will come to a lunchtime carol concert with me in Christmas Week which is nice.

And I got a seat on the train this morning (the one before mine was very late, and mine was back to full length again, so there was 1 seat left, yay!!), so I got a good few rows done on the current train scarf. I intend to do a lot on the complicated one(s) over the weekend. And if I finish the current train one, I will start a less complicated train one to replace one of the current complicated ones.

And as I was actually early into town, I took 10 minutes to browse the bookstore magazine rack, and bought a Christmas reading mag each for DD and DH, and I will get one when the December editions are out (DH's is an annual edition, and DD's is a Dec/Jan edition, of ones that would each interest them, I want a current affairs end of year wrap up edition of something).

Yay the gas man is here 😁😁😁

Weird Biddy! DD asked me what day it was this morning, and DS2 asked me where we were going when I asked him to put his shoes on!
