Sea thank you ! I am pleased to say they have all gone ! I did it a different way this time and it was much nicer . I used half the milk l normally use and it was more creamy somehow

Morning! I'm up far too early again.

I hate Mondays as a) it's back to work and b) it's one of my two long days. Sigh.

My catching up didn’t happen over the weekend. Too busy at home. Glorious day Saturday for the Cubs blackberrying - it’s an absolute favorite session on the calendar (they play int he playground in the park after blackberrying while leaders cook them, and they get ice cream and blackberry sauce before going home). Lots of the scouts were active too - younger ones at the last competition of the season, at least 3 teams from the boys and the girls pack, and some older girls went hiking preparing for another competition they have coming up (3 days hiking and camping). Luckily I only had to drop my scout to the train for 8.20, not have her at the Den for 7am or drive to the mountain by 7.40!

I brought my knitting needles with me and started the last scarf for a girl. I still have 3 for men on needles and need to start 1 more. But I was afaraid I’d lose the needles so brought 1 to start not 1 well advanced. And got a good run at it so far!

We have put the heating on for he first time since last winter.
My washing dried ! Just watched the weather and he said it is going to be Amazing on Weds YAY!!! He also said we would be having to pay for it because there would be a terrible storm over the weekend! Oh well c'est la vie! I will live for Weds & suck it up Saturday
Bought DH some lovely socks from M& S today not for Christmas we are not buying pressies for each other , l have also told my DSIS & her DH that we are not buying for them either . Just buy for birthdays now.
Bought my DF a pair of flannelette sheets and pillowcases from Shaw's in Cwmbran for Christmas , l will give them to him now to use because the one pr he has on his bed is shedding cotton fluff and doesn't fit the mattress properly.
I know you probably think... why am l buying their pressies now and giving them to them . Well l have realised that you get to a certain age and receiving presents really isn't all it's cracked out to be. DF cannot be bothered to open his presents neither can my DM , we have to practically open them for them tbf they both have trouble opening the presents because their hands are terribly arthritic and they are left in their beautifully wrapped bags for weeks after until l sort the bags out for them , honestly l am not joking they don't want anything . So l have decided to give in and get them stuff they need and give it them now .
Lots of lovely Christmas stuff in M & S too. I could have bought the Christmas pud wrapping paper there & then !

Good news Shaky is eating a little and drinking as normal he has a terrible cold by the seems of it, so l don't know if he had a virus and is now recovering. Bless him he is sat on the sofa back looking as large as life again ...l am so relieved we all love him so much .

Seafood the course is Sage computerised accounts. It went ok, I suppose. I'll give it another few weeks to see if it's for me.

We do ours the weekend roughly two weeks before. We have a real one though.

We did our tree really early last year but this year it will be beginning of Dec, prob the 8th when both DD'S are home
