Fluffy You’re very brave putting the washing out at night! I’m always so scared that it’s gonna rain and we’ll have to start all over again.
Baubles and Biddy I’ll join you both with feeling like a zombie!. Our chickens aren’t really fans of the strong wind so they’ve been clucking all night keeping us up!.
The wind is really heavy here, we have all the windows and doors closed but can still hear it. Our fires on, I’ve just been out to let the chickens into their run and topped up their feed and water. Arthur had a bit of a wobble going in this morning, he’s such a little homebody and he saw that we’d had the fire on and all the lamps on so it was cosy and started crying. I’m making an indoor picnic now so he can have a bit of a treat when he gets back.(Homemade lenondade, carrot cake and some pop cakes).
I think he’s getting a bit jealous that Lorcan and John are at home with me all the time and we go and do stuff in the day, he’s always been a mummy’s boy.
We’re also considering keeping Lorcan back a year as he’s summer born. He’s very shy and reserved and I don’t think he’s ready for school just yet. Especially as he’ll only have been in nursery for 6 months before he starts. So I think we might just keep him back so he can get used to nursery. If any of you have done this or know people who have I’d really welcome your advice.
The nights are definitely drawing in, it was dark here at about 7 last night and the fire was on. Had to put the fire on this morning when we got up as well and change the boys in front of it as it was too cold in their rooms and I don’t like using the heating if it isn’t necessary.
Hope you all have a great day!
