@redgreen - I love their little moustaches so cute!

@fluffy - your curry looks so good!

I’m having a jacket potato with cheese and beans, had a huge craving for it all day!
Finally sorted the spare room out, my devil kitten made the task much harder 😂
I also had a quick go on my friends Doppler and I found baby’s heartbeat, it’s so fast and the most amazing sound! Yes, I cried 😂

Mrsmadevans · 14/09/2018 18:10

Evening all Xmas Grin
Been busy with the parents and then friend came for coffee and to show me the wedding pics she had just been to. It was in Ibiza (nephew} and cost mega bucks to go , the flights were £300 each x 4 from Birmingham, then they had to pay £300 a night for a villa x 4 nights Shock I mean it looked lovely there but ...... it is a lot of money for 4 days . She said it is really expensive where they went and a jug of Sangria was 44 euros!!! I think she/ they were mad but then that is me. They had a lovely time so .....not my cuppa tea though. I think l have worked too hard for my money to spend on things like that ....l think l must be getting very old and Bah Humbuggy Xmas Grin.

Mrsmadevans · 14/09/2018 18:29

NoWordForFluffy · 14/09/2018 18:43

The bulbs are from Thompson and Morgan. They do loads of brilliant offers on them!

I've got snowdrops still to come as well, from Wilko. There's a great range in there if you've one nearby.

DD will go to bed at 7.40, DS2 will go at 8. 😴

Mrsmadevans · 14/09/2018 19:20

Thank you Fluffy will go in tomorrow , l have ordered 2 jumpers for Dad for Christmas from M& S so will go and look in Cwmbran tomorrow when l pick them up.
PSB your DC are amazing at going to bed you are truly blessed!!

PhilomenaButterfly · 14/09/2018 19:39

It helps that they're tired Mrs! 😂

WreckTangled · 14/09/2018 19:41

My ds has been in bed over an hour! He loves his sleep. Wish I could go to bed that early 🤔

I'm working in the toy shop tomorrow Grin apparently it's been quite busy

PhilomenaButterfly · 14/09/2018 19:49

If DS2 went to bed that early he'd be up at 4 Wreck! Shock

WreckTangled · 14/09/2018 19:54

Me too! He needs a good 12 hours though at least and when it's a school day he can't be in bed past 7am

NoWordForFluffy · 14/09/2018 20:13

Ours have 11-12 hours too, Wreck. They went to bed at about 7.20 and DS was asleep by 7.30-ish. We sometimes do a 6.30 upstairs to be asleep by 6.45 with them if they're knackered!

Ours are great at going to bed unless, ironically, DS is really tired, when it all becomes a drama!

I think DS has finally nodded off ( he'll be 19 in Dec and these teenage chaps need their sleep what with being a busy lay-about) He's prepping himself for University and applying for jobs while practising his guitar (Multi-Tasking eh? )

I made a nice vegetarian Mince/Potato/Carrot stew type thingie but I felt really queasy after the gym and didn't eat any , DD and DH scoffed it.

PhilomenaButterfly · 15/09/2018 05:02

Morning! No sound of DS2 yet. 😆

Redgreencoverplant · 15/09/2018 05:36

Why are we awake PB?

PhilomenaButterfly · 15/09/2018 06:09

I was awake at 3.30, quite normal for me, and I'd set my alarm for 4.10 to be awake before DS2, now he's either asleep or not coming in. Hmm

NoWordForFluffy · 15/09/2018 08:01

Morning!

Blood donation day today for me and DH. Let's hope the nurse doesn't bugger it up this time and I can give a full donation. I'm busy drinking loads before I go at lunch time.

It's hair cut time first though; the hairdresser is coming just before 10.

Busy!

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 15/09/2018 08:22

I can't give blood so thanks fluffy! Dh gives blood he's AB+ so tries to give as often as he can.

PhilomenaButterfly · 15/09/2018 08:46

Thanks from me too Fluffy! They don't want me to give people CJD. My transfusion was in 1996, I'm pretty sure we'd know by now if I had it. I think you can get symptoms after 10 years, but not 22 AFAIK. Hmm

Redgreencoverplant · 15/09/2018 09:20

Thanks for me too fluffy! I have a heart defect which means I can't donate.

NoWordForFluffy · 15/09/2018 09:45

I've just sorted the landing cupboard. So much stuff I could bin! Apparently I have my gran's wedding dress from 1949 in there too. Is there a market for such things?!

OP posts:
CrazyBaubles · 15/09/2018 10:07

MrsMad you're living up to your name by braving Cwmbran on a Saturday!
Thank you for the heads up about Knitting Bible - will look at going at some point next week 👍🏻

PSB 4:10am is the middle of night!

Thanks for me too Fluffy - I'm not allowed to donate due to my medication but did regularly before I had to take it.
Do you have a pic of that wedding dress? Vintage is very in these days so yes, there is probably a market for it (depending on its condition).

I finished the Christmas scarf yesterday. It came out so much better than I thought it would Xmas Smile so I may work on the doll this afternoon when DH is out for the rugby. Not sure what else to do with myself today!
