Here we are continuing from the last thread!

I've been productive: 30 minutes on the cross trainer and I also cleaned the bathroom. Go me, ha ha!

I'm on the train now. Here's hoping it's a good day at work!

Had a wonderful crying meltdown this morning when I couldn’t do up my work shirt due to my ever expanding stomach, I’m only 12 weeks and look 9 months pregnant most days 😂 one of my poor brothers walked into my house looking horrified at the sight of me sat on the floor crying 😂 oh the joys of pregnancy! He’s taking me to McDonald’s for breakfast, I cried because I’m so happy to be getting a breakfast wrap. 😂

Mum is ok about her friend dying, she knew deep down just needed it confirmed . Thank you for the sympathy Fluffy , she will be ok it's just the inevitability of it l suppose. I have boosted her by saying that she is lucky to have lived the long life she has , she has us all loving and caring for her every need. I left her on the phone to her friends telling them about it. Will take her to Dancing gossip club tonight and she will tell them and they will all chat to her about it so she will get comfort from them as well..... poor Mum.
Not planning on doing much today will do some decluttering l think

I am wearing tights and my new autumn shoes which have a bit of a 1920s feel to them :) Penultimate day in my current job today! Managed to get the landing cupboards and the entrance hall done yesterday. DH is doing a Samaritans shift tonight so I am planning a hot chocolate, duvet and the GH Christmas make your own magazine once DS is in bed :)

Ah, Acey. I got very large very quickly with mine (I didn't lose weight in between pregnancies, as mine are 13 months' apart, which didn't help with DS!).

Some people just bloom early due to bloating / water retention etc.

I've been very slack re the cross trainer since doing my shoulder. The lack of sleep initially, and now the 'hangover' from the amitriptyline are not motivational in the slightest! Thankfully I have my allotment work to burn calories! 😁

Anyone want to volunteer to do my landing cupboard?! It's got my wedding dress lurking somewhere in it! 😂

Fluffy what are you going to do with it ? I have mine lurking in the airing cupboard from 36 yrs ago , l mean what do you do with it? An image of me dead in the coffin with THE dress on came to me then I must get rid of it NOW!!!

I'm keeping it in case DD wants it! Then I'm not sure if she says no. Probably donate it to one of those charities which make clothes for stillborn babies.

Mine languished on the wardrobe for 18 years until an amazing dressmaker turned it into DS's christening gown. She also took all the pearls off and hand sewed them onto DD2 's communion dress.

Tbf Acey breakfast wraps are very nice and worth crying with joy over! 😂

I had smashed avocado on sourdough toast and a banana today. 😋🍌

Yesterday DD's teacher told her that she can't wear a tankini for swimming, which starts next Tuesday. Sainsbury's is completely out of swimming costumes in her size, I have no money in the bank so can't order online until Monday. It would have been nice to have got a heads up.

Morning all!, I haven’t been able to read through all the replies so sorry!, I’ll catch up later tonight though, but hope you’ve all had lovely times!. Arthur’s getting better, has been in the garden for some fresh air and is able to eat properly again. I just want to cry for him!.

I got rid of my weddings dress last summer to a charity shop that has a wedding dress department. We had already given them DD's first communion dress as no one in the family wanted it. They were delighted. But items for stillborns is another lovely idea.

Another busy day today, but cleaners are in the house so clean sheets tonight and a lovely clean house. I'm changing the duvet to a heavier one as well - I threw a single one from spare bed over me last night (over the double on us both) and actually slept!

My leather pencil wrap for DD's stocking arrived yesterday as well. But I have almost nothing done for others, and I think I will have to resort to shopping after all as I can't see myself having crafting time for my plans before Christmas. Although that would have been very good for using up my stash....maybe next year.

Well done Fluffy ! You put me to shame - I didn't even do the dog walk this morning, DH did it instead. All I managed was to put a wash in the machine before I left for work.

Mrs that's so sad about your mums friend. Sweet that after all this time she was still concerned though - I hope my friends are like that when I reach old age!

My wedding dress is currently on my spare bed after being removed from the airing cupboard during my clear out. No idea what to do with it tbh. Was considering cleaning & selling. Maybe.

Biddy I think me and you are similar on the crafting front. I have lots of plans for this year (as I did last year) but doubt I'll have time to see them through.
I did sew some Christmas shapes on to a Christmas scarf I'm making for a friend yesterday and want to finish that tonight (I've attached a pic of one section - it's not perfect but I like it )

I love that it's getting colder. When I got home from work yesterday DH had the back door open and it was freezing! I had to close it and cwtch into a blanket as didn't want to put the heating on.

Mrsmad I'm sorry to hear about your mum's friend passing away. . Tenby always looks so beautiful in photos.

Forgot to add its my wedding anniversary in just under 2 weeks, 0 idea what to get DH, I have practically spelled out I want cross stitch Christmas themed so we'll see if he's gone for it.

Seafood the letter specifically said no bikinis, DD like a fool asked "what about tankinis?"

I am very proud of him Mrs! My wedding dress is still in my wardrobe. I deliberately bought a style of dress that meant I could wear it again with colourful accessories but realistically I am never going to be that thin again!

Ughh long day, glad to be home. Bath and bed for me
I’ve had to borrow one of my brothers white shirts as my work had none that would fit (cue another crying session) 😂. He’s 6ft5, I’m 5ft6, it comes down to my knees 😂

@Mrs - I’m enjoying freaking my brothers out with all the crying, I’m not one to cry normally so it really confuses them and the rest of my family

@fluffy 13 months apart, when did you sleep?! 😂 my youngest brother is a year to the day older than me, and we are close as best friends, so I think my parents think the tiredness was worth it! I did enjoy my breakfast thank you 😁

@Philomena - they are definitely worth crying over, regardless of being pregnant or not 😂

@Seafood oooo 20 week scan, that’s lovely I bet you’re excited 😁 oh these hormones are just a bundle of fun! I’m so excited for my scan next week, feels like ages since I had my private one at 7 weeks and baby was just a tiny blob! 😂 I really did enjoy my breakfast, it was worth the tears of excitement haha!

Day off tomorrow and I’m going to clear out the spare room which will be the nursery, as long as my nausea stays away!

Bless you Acey! When I was in the first trimester I cried every morning as I had no idea how I would survive a day at work feeling as exhausted as I did.

DS is in bed so I am all ready to relax. Having some cuddles with my birthday girl who is 8 today :)

I wore my wedding dress on Hallowe'en a few years back (I 'glammed' it up with some overlays of really yellowey lace , a long yellowed lace veil, talc in my hair and a tiara ....and full on Zombie Corpse Bride make-up with a bouquet of black roses)

I looked better than my actual wedding day

Once the extra lace was removed and it was washed , it went away till I either get married again (Nope) or next Hallowe'en ....(possible)
