Our two have been very keen to go to bed since starting back to school last week. It's funny! DS chooses the shortest book possible so he still gets one, but it doesn't last long. 😁 He was asleep by about 7.25 tonight. Bless him!

Sorry your DH's shoulder is still playing up, Mrs. Mine is still playing up, though it's loads better during the day if I have Naproxen with breakfast, so I'll have to keep on top of that. Is your DH taking anything? I hope your sciatica doesn't take hold too.

Sorry your DS is also ill, Heavy. Sickness bugs travel round like wildfire at school! I hope he's better soon.

Thank you all for your well wishes for Arthur. He can’t sleep because of his belly so is cuddled up with me now and we’re reading stories. I had a really weak immune system as a little girl so hoping that Arthur hasn’t followed me, I was barely in school!

l can't take Naproxen they make me feel sick, l know they are a good drug though they give my DM great relief. l have taken them all ways too but no luck. I stopped taking anything in the end because l was rattling and l didn't feel the benefit from anything Sciatica is alright today l am crossing everything , glad you are getting some relief using them .
DH has not taken anything stronger than Paracetamols this morning and he is ok now, he just needs to be really careful , l am drumming it into him all the time he has finally realised he just cannot forget about it and go on as normal. I won't let him for one

I hope everyone got some sleep and ill people are on the mend.

I'm trying to decide when to chase about my interview. Is today too early? My friend said to wait until tomorrow, but I don't know! Maybe tomorrow morning.

My Thursday today. Woooo. Still snowed under with work, but I'm kind of getting there. Kind of.

Anyway, time to go to the station now. Yaaaay!

I've been awake since 6 but haven't actually started getting ready yet. I've let the dogs out and got back into bed with a cuppa as it was freezing! Did enjoy it being dark when I got up though...definitely feels wintery

Well I have tackled the landing cupboards and tested the fire alarms. Need to work in the entrance hall later :)

I'm working from home this morning (meeting at school late morning so makes sense) - so I managed to get laundry out while the kettle boiled for my coffee, another load on (towels - and its windy so they'll be fluffy if I get them out before leaving!), and also ran a brillo pad up the bannisters to get some of the grunge off the handrail as part of hallway week (that's been on my list for at least 4 years now....).

I'd better go check on actual work stuff too....

The hospital, got my scan on the 20th at 8.30am, cor I’m so excited!

Arthur got to sleep at about 3, and was up at 7. He’s asleep on the sofa now and I’m in the garden with the other boys trying to keep them out of his hair. Keep checking on his, his temperature has gone down to normal but he’s still throwing up occasionally, so it looks like he’ll be off all week. It’s such a shame for him as it’s only his second week back.

Heavy your poor DS, good that he's finally getting some sleep, it sounds like he's getting better so hopefully he'll be back to normal by the weekend.

Today's school run was awful, the bus was almost 2 hours late, with a 2 year old and 1 year old getting really fed up in the buggy and having nowhere to sit in all that time I'm ready for bed already!

Evening all
We got up extra early and decided on a whim to go to Tenby . Omg it was so beautiful there , the weather, the scenery, all just so refreshing and just what we needed. We walked down to the South beach and had a paddle , then walked to the Harbour, the Lifeboat house, the Museum, the Church, it is beautiful and then finally to the Tudor Merchants house phew we walked and walked. It was wonderful!
Anyway DSis had the parents this morning for us to go and on the way back in Brecon we did some detective work for Mum, she has a friend from school age, who she has kept in touch with by birthday and Christmas cards and the odd phone call, she has known her for over 80 yrs ! Mum always sends her money in a card and normally her friend rings her to thank her. A couple of months ago Mum sent her card for her birthday and she didn't get the usual phone call from her friend. Mum knew she must have died but her son who she lived with is special needs and hadn't let mum know she had died. My poor mum was desperate to know, anyway l managed to find out she died in July. She was 86 too. I don't know why l am telling you all this just that l suppose it has upset Mum so it follows l am sad for her. I told Mum she doesn't have to worry about her anymore and that she was at peace now. Mum has worried about her so much in the past because she was a little special needs too and had no one to look after her or her son. Honestly it is so sad I feel better for letting it all out

Picked DS2 up from Adventure, DD was in bed by 7.40, DS2 was in bed by 8, did wash, put it on radiators, in bed now.

I've hardly seen her Mrs! It was Adventure today, then winding down for bed when she got back. She's had a good day though. 😆

Morning!

I'm psyching myself up to go on the cross trainer. Not been on it this week yet! I'm just too zonked from the amitriptyline I think! But, I'm on the late today so have time to come round a bit before trying, so I'm going to make the effort.

We had a lovely day yesterday in the end. It's meant to be the same today, I think. We've managed to not have the heating on yet, which is better than last year, as September was chilly!

I hope the ill little people are still recovering well.

That's sad about your mum's friend, Mrs. I hope your mum's OK.
