How have I never come across a wicker tree skirt before? I keep saying I'm going to make a crochet one / sew one out of Christmas fabric but haven't but now I want a wicker one.
Constantly I'm another big believer in things working out the way they should in the end. My best friend is someone I met at uni who was meant to go somewhere completely different and family circumstances meant to she had to go through clearing. She ended up next door to me (15 years ago) and I only ended up there as I didn't get in to my first 2 choices.
Can I ask, how did you find your teacher training? I'm quite shy / hate doing presentations so figure I'd be no good but would love to get into it and I have been told by several people it would suit me (including DH who became a teacher in his 30s).

Well I am home from my holiday. Flight was nice and easy, I read most of the way home (am reading Wolf Hall and I'm engrossed) but I made time to organise my Christmas present ideas list / preliminary budget.
I am now avoiding the giant pile of washing and hobbling a little as I seem to have an infected mosquito bite right on the bottom of my foot 🙄
