Evening all, DD1 home from Uni bless her. She has actually been very good over Percy , she could see how peaceful he was in the pics we took of him and she was so relieved he just went to sleep and never woke.
It is freezing here tonight , I hope this higher temp hurries up and arrives

I haven't been in our Sainsburys cafe for years. I took DD when she was little (Christmas food shopping) I bribed her with Cake+Drink before we started.
I had a piece of their Christmas cake , Madam ate all the marzipan and icing off it . You know how it is: "Oh, Mummy what's that, can I try some....oh that's nice, can we swap?"

DBro/DSiL are coming to us for the weekend so tomorrow , I will shop, clean like a fiend and pick up something for DS (college thing) while I'm at it

Hopefully it'll be nice weather, my guinea-pigs want to go out

I've only been in a Tesco cafe and then less than a handful of times. I try to get in and out of supermarkets ASAP, no hanging about!

70, my DC regularly eat a huge percentage of my dinner for me when I get back from work. It's no wonder I'm losing weight without even trying! Small children love to snaffle what isn't theirs.

We go after clubs to save time so the DC can still get to bed on time. They weren't selected for clubs this term, but I can't get out of taking them to the Sainsbury's café. 😂

Morning! Just woke up on sofa ... oops! Well what a flipping evening I had.. Door wouldn’t lock at work so ended up stuck there til 7.30 until the company locksmith could come out.He had been on a job in Leeds! So glad to see him was worried I’d be stuck there all night! anyway was just after half eight when finally got home. Was so tired I fell asleep straight after tea. Well am wide awake now so can get ds bag packed. He has put all his stuff in a pile. I have to drop him at the dojo for 12 so will go to work after as im now owed 6 hours lol!. I think il leave at half four today and go and meet DH,he is booked in for his new tattoo this aft ( kids and I got him a voucher for his birthday) as the tattooist he wanted is very popular so was a long wait for a session with him!!

That was a right nuisance Internal and the girl done good to stay there till it was safe. I hope your work appreciate you . DS should have a great time is it the first trip on his own ?
Fluffy, apparently the crushed eggs feel like walking on broken glass to the snails, so hope it works.
DF still not up to scratch so l took mum to her dancing club, they don't dance anymore but go because they have a lot of friends there and it is so good for them to socialise. So l took mum , it was fascinating , all these elderly people, dressed up to the nines , it was like strictly! . There is a lot of undercurrents and gossiping going on there as well lol, it was hilarious, so and so doesn't talk to so and so , and Marie is jealous of Denise because Marie used to dance with John until Denise came along , it was really funny or am l a saddo . Anyway this Marie has another dance partner but the ungrateful cow said to me 'l don't want to dance with him but there aren't enough men here '. You had to be there .
Hope everyone is gearing up for a great bank holiday weekend and the weather is great . YAY!

I got my flexible work request approved. As of 14 May I no longer work on Fridays. Whoop!

Morning! Got woken by DS at 5, so I'm now awake and he went straight back to sleep once he was in with us. Sigh!

Lots of small things to get done today, including whizzing into town for a few things. It's handy having my rail pass for work as I can just hop on the train to town and not have to think about parking etc! I have a shopping trolley for carrying stuff, so I'm good to go. 😁

Well I dropped DS at the dojo at 12.30 yesterday, he txted from the airport before his flight. Hope he’s having a great time ... it was his first time on a plane!
I had DD calling me all day as she’s ill ( just needs Mum lol) so got her sorted at docs ... she has antibiotics for a very swollen gland and weird lump on one side of her throat. They saying possible tonsillitis but if no better in 48 he she has to go for swabs😮. Dropped her at home after collecting her prescription as she was just wanting her bed.
DH and I enjoyed a few glasses of wine and a supper of baked pork chop, fried new potatoes and saag paneer ( spelling??) and watched a film. Seems strange just knowing ds not here! Hope you enjoy the sun today .. I’m off to work shortly 😑

It's lovely and warm already (I'm at the station waiting to go into town). It's going to be a belter today. Which is why I'm off to get our BBQ food first thing, before the crowds decide to buy some!

We are going to Knit and nat today , it is a monthly meet for ppl to have a cuppa and do handicrafts . Mum is coming , Dad will stay with my hubbs and watch the snooker , he is not at all himself bless him.

That's really nice, Wreck. We're all out in the garden now. I sanded and painted the front door and mowed the lawn after I got home from town, so deserve a little sit down - and beer - I reckon! 😁
