I'm in the garden too. Dh has mowed the lawn and is now doing the hedge then he's going to go and get me some gin and tonic definitely not feeling festive today! ☀️

Afternoon! We had breakfast in the Sainsbury's café, DS2 had a bitesize breakfast with scrambled egg and bacon, I had super scrambled egg, we had Spanish potatoes for lunch. 😋😋

I have elderflower cider. 🍻

Our cake sale made £110.50. 😆😆😆😆😆

Had wrapped up salmon with veggie ribbons for supper. 😋🐟

Oh dear, Wreck! Mine isn't sore, thankfully. I'll be brown tomorrow. It's just so nice to get the sun on your skin, isn't it?

I'll go brown too. I always get burnt the first bit of sun we have then it's just brown really. It's so nice. Everything is better when the sun is shining.

It really is. It's been lovely clear blue sky today, just gorgeous!

Have a lovely day! Waiting for DH to do his breakfast before he goes off to a ritual, then I'll do breakfast burritos for us.

The only decent beach round here will have an hours queue to get into the £8 car park today so we're staying in the garden. Going to do some weeding.

There's quite a queue here too, which is unusual at this time of day, even in good weather.

It's £6 to park, but free for NT members, which we are. The queue is exceptionally slow though. 😡

BBQ today- so I am looking forward to summer- I love it.

But I also love christmas.
I am determined to have a great christmas this year, 2017 christmas was a big fail.
Our boiler packed in a few days before christmas - so the house was ripped apart, floorboards up, no hot water no heating, we all had Australian flu, DS was going through a bout of depression after a gap year working abroad, we left it too late to get our tree so only scraggy ones left.
All our events were cancelled.

This year DD will be at University, DS now studying too and feeling much happier, also DD's Uni breaks up on the 10th December- OH will take two weeks off work and we will all have time to do lots of christmas activities before the actual day, so going for christmas coffees, shopping, outdoor ice skating, christmas movie at the cinema.
We will also have our Christmas eve Carols from Kings in the Conservatory, with mulled wine, a late afternoon small drinks party. Then a baked ham buffet for the inlaws on the 28th.
I am excited already!!

Hey all .. have I missed much?. been working then DH and I went out for tea. Mushroom and Stilton bake mmmmmmm! DS has landed back in English soil and will be back early hours. I have one more shift and then off for two days yay! Hope you have all been making the most off the sunshine. I will catch up properly on Tuesday xx
