I have no plants to speak of, except my cactus which I've somehow managed to keep alive! Very jealous of you who can keep a tidy garden.

Everything was so busy today that I feel absolutely drained. I hit the ground running with a breakdown on the way to work so got in late then had to sort out a quite nasty disagreement between members of my team before doing my actual job and finishing late. I've done no exercise today, the only good thing is that I did resist eating the biscuits I desperately wanted so at least the diet is on track!

Morning! Drinking coffee and watching BBC breakfast news, will get up DS2 soon, DD at 6.55. 😋

I'm not the gardener here, DH is, but they were my poppies. 😂

Good morning.. am posting this from bed! Yay. ... DH kindly ejected the teenager from his pit before leaving for work and said teen made his own pack up ( probably means 3 packets of crisps and a choc bar 😂😂) so all quiet and relaxed here.. until the dogs realise I’m still at home!
I went out and bought my new notepads and jotters yesterday on my lunch break.. got on train home last night and realised I had left them at station .. including my full one 😱😱. Fortunately the lovely train guy rang his mate who will check if bag still there and keep in the office til I return. I hope nobody has taken them I’d be devastated to imagine someone going through all my lists and notes. Fingers crossed il call station office at 9 and they be there!

I went out into the garden this morning and got another bucket of snails which are now in the green bin. It's grim, grim, grim, but necessary. 🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌

Our garden is small. Quite straight forward to keep on top of really! Anything bigger would possibly be a struggle.

Lovely Edward isn't in until 1 today, so I'll either drop the letter in when we come for supper today, or tomorrow. DS2 has a sharing assembly today. I've just had a big breakfast and a banana. ✉😋🍳🍌

I am still in bed after the most awful night with DH , he has coughed for England , Scotland , Ireland & Wales and I am so tired .
He is ok just making the most of it .

Update : phones rail company, told me to press 1 to speak to someone which I did. The someone said “we don’t deal with lost property go on website” .. I said can you not just give me the ticket office number and if it’s there il pick it up on Thursday? But apparently that would be too easy and it will be sent to their lost property office in the back of beyond for me to apply to have returned and pay to be posted!! 😑😑😑... just hoping train mans mate found it and put it in said office (which I can’t ring because they apparently have no number) so will just have to wait and see (chews nails) I need my lists!! Sorry if my grammar is awry it has stressed me out a bit so am off to walk dogs and breathe...

Wilf has blood tests this morning at hospital and then Gabe had his cast changed this afternoon, all I have done today is be at the hospital! I did take Wilf for a Costa after his bloods, it was lovely. I might see if I can find somewhere I can take him for a Christmassy afternoon tea, he loves a cafe and we rarely do it.

My DS loves a Costa! DH takes him on a Weds quite often as he doesn't have preschool then. He'll be gutted going to school in September!

Wednesday. Woooo. Getting towards the weekend nicely!

I submitted my flexible work request on Monday. Just waiting for the meeting to take place to - hopefully - confirm the details. I hope it starts soon. I can't wait for Fridays off. 😁

Morning! Thanks everyone I have calmed down now. If they are there on Thursday then bonus if not.. it’s only paper (😱😱😱😱) .. I keep telling myself lol.
I walked dogs before the rain came and then took grumpdog to the groomers and ran some errands in town. When DH got home he decided as he was watching footy we may aswell have tea out that was nice end to the day.
How is everyone’s weather this morn? It rained solidly from 1pm yesterday but fingers crossed it seems ok now.. was hoping to sort out the shed today.

The sun has burned through here. We still have 30-40% risk of showers, apparently, but being coastal they often blow over / go round us without actually hitting us!

Yesterday my mum and DS1 came, went to DS2's sharing assembly then parents' evening, had supper in the Sainsbury's café, the DC were in bed by 9.20. 😆

It's not raining yet, but we dark clouds and a fierce wind.

Well the clouds have rolled in here bringing showers and possibly thunder!! Met my friend this morn tho as she is a bit down at moment so took her for cake and coffee. DH is off so he’s kindly walked the dogs and renewed car insurance.

Car ins this year much less because we decided to have a look before the ins actually run out . Went to Go Compare & Confused.com and they both come back with a quote for £183 fully comp car not worth a lot now a 2011 diesel ford focus hatch we are looking for a new one but can't seem to decide.
Nice weather atm sunny and windy been for our 3 mile walk and am sat on sofa watching the snooker lol. Think l may be coming down with DH cold, my eye won't stop running , funny that it is only the right eye .
