Just been out with dogs here... its cloudy and windy but no rain so far. Think Avengers for us too Handbag... just hope I’m not feeling too rubbish by this evening. Having to go to 8pm showing as dd wants to come and she’s working til 7pm!

Sad news , woke this morning to the shock of Percy our beautiful 15 yr old cat had passed away in the night. No idea what from just found him dead lying on the floor. He was getting very stiff and we had taken him for his 6 month check up the end of Jan , they px him metacam but we couldn't give him it because it made him ill. My DH says he is gone before he has suffered too much. I did cry though , he was such a character Bless him.
Not long ago my mum phoned to say my dad had a funny turn this morning , confused and a slight headache. They didn't want anyone to know , no DRS or us or my sister. I took no notice. Phoned my sis to get there asap and phoned the DRS. Am waiting for the DRS to ring back as l write. Sis is there now am waiting for her to ring me . I can't go up there because Dad has a low immune system and l might give him or mum this cold. He had it in the beginning and has given it to us both , he had to have antibiotics asap because of his blood problems. I am just thinking ......I don't know what to do about my DD1 in Uni , she has 4 long days to do on placement then she is home on Thursday for nearly a week . She has always told me to tell her if Percy dies and she will come home . I can't help thinking that it would be better not to tell her and tell her when she comes home. I will wait for my other dd to come home and see what she says . She doesn't know yet ....I know it is a cat but he was part of the family and now with my Dad being ill , honestly l am floored .I can't seem to think straight.
Just heard from the Dr , she will see Dad at 5 o'clock today so at least that will get him seen , my sister will be there and we can sort him out. I don't think it is a stroke or anything just that he is 88 and you know anything could happen.
So that is me today will let you know how my DD gets on later . Thanks for listening.

I’m just resting up this aft and pottering at home. DH has gone to watch footy and ds is getting ready to go and meet his mates while it’s not raining. He cane down and helped me put food shopping away and put the pots away too! All without being asked 😮

Mrs! What a horrid day, I'd agree, leave DD to do her placement days and then tell her. I hope your Dad is ok, hopefully it will just be wonky blood pressure or something. So sorry :(

RIP Percy. It's always a shock, even if the pet is old. I agree about waiting re your DD. I know she means well, but her placement is important and not something which should be put on hold for a pet dying. (I had to do a vacation placement starting the Monday after my gramp died on the Saturday; it's shit, but sometimes other things are more essential than being at home.)

I hope your dad is OK as well.

We went to a freezing forest today to do the Highway Rat trail.

We then made gingerbread men when we got back. DS loves them and enjoyed helping me make them too!

Now I'm making curry for dinner and it smells amazing!

Oh. We all seemed to forget Ruldolph Day last week!

Am feeling so much better, DD 2 came home and agreed we shouldn't tell DD1. Dad is ok been seen by the GP , they gave him a good exam and he could not find anything clinically wrong with him but he did query a UTI , which can make the best of us confused . So glad he is alright.He is going to the DR in the morning with a letter from them today. Once Dad had the all clear from the DR he was like a different man , he said how he felt much better , l am wondering if it could be a little bit of anxiety disorder over his blood problem too bless him. God knows I would be anxious living with it hanging over my head too.

Oh Mrs What a sad and stressful day for you. RIP Percy. We lost DDog1 just over a year ago, it's so awful.
Also, glad your dad has been given the all clear!

I haven't achieved anything. The cinema website took our booking then crashed so it took the money and refunded it before we realised, so by the time we realised all the showings were fully booked so we had lunch and came home. I feel awful now, tired and bunged up 🤒

Had chicken and prawn yaki udon for supper, DS2's going to bed at 8.30. 😋🍗🍤🍜😴

Morning all , up since half four just couldn't sleep .
Am sat having a cuppa , dosed up to the eyeballs, watching Come dine with me , the birds are singing and it is getting lighter , it is lovely. Just can't wait to get back to normal and be able to go out for walks and not feel so horrible. It is the coughing that is so awful. Hope everyone is feeling better and have a good day , take care everyone

Morning! Well I must have lost my own body weight in snot by now 😦. Eyes feel sore and I just want to stay in bed feeling sorry for myself!.... alas I’m meeting my Mum and Auntie at ten (they have been forewarned) for a catch up. Staying up til after midnight to watch Avengers probably didn’t help though!

Morning Internal . I so know the feeling and it doesn't seem to be going anywhere fast. The germs that are around these days just seem so much more evil, don't they? Shifting them takes forever, I find. Just when you think you're getting better, you go downhill again.

I'm on the train to work. Another gorgeous day here, though starting off cold. I go out into the garden every evening and look at what's grown that day; there's so much going on! The strawberry plants are flowering now, so we'll have fruit in a few weeks. Can't wait! The blueberry bushes are starting to get flower buds too. I can't imagine that many of them will make it indoors if DS has his way! 😂😂

I'm loving these accidental breakfasts Woolly! Before we had our big silver thing outside and before the DC's tablets could receive Sainsbury's WiFi, I had 5 accidental McDonald's breakfasts in a row trying to set the tablets up! 😂
