Morning! I'm awake way too early, but never mind! I'm still in bed. DS is attached to me so I can't move much as I don't want to wake him up!

Haircuts today. And that's our only plan. Might get out into the garden as the pea netting needs to go up. If it stays dry!

Morning! DS2's in our room for the WiFi, I'm drinking coffee in bed, we'll go to the Sainsbury's café for breakfast later. 😋😋

Morning.. I’m on the train to work, left DH snoozing! He will be picking up DS later this morn (ds had sleepover at his cousins) and hopefully walking the hounds. Was hoping to try car boot in the morn but forecast looking dubious so looks like we might be forced to go and watch Avengers instead !! Enjoy your Saturdays 🙂

We're off to Gisburn forest tomorrow to do the Highway Rat trail there. It's meant to be dry, if a bit chilly, so should be OK.

In the Sainsbury's café, the DC had bitesize breakfasts with scrambled instead of fried egg and extra bacon, I had smashed avocado on sourdough toast. 😋

I took the DC into town on the train today. It's gorgeous and sunny up here today. I needed bits and bobs from Wilko and Asda and had to collect something from Next too. I rarely have both children together on my own as it's normally family stuff at the weekend! Herding DD was challenging as she's not keen on paying attention to what she's being told. Typical almost-5 year old I think!

My 12 chilli plants arrived in the post, so I've potted those up and put them in one of the poly greenhouses. I've also planted 6 dwarf bean plants out as they had got to the right size to warrant it, and they were very rooty! The pea netting went up and I've also potted 4 cucumber plants on as well. Productive day in the garden!

We're having roast chicken tonight and I've just added the spices to tomorrow's chicken thighs which I picked up from the butcher round the corner earlier to marinade overnight for dinner tomorrow. Productive food day also! 😋

Perfect, I did a wash too and I drieded it in the tumble and I folded the lot up and took it upstairs. I did not get so far as to put it away though , that was enough for today
Fluffy you put my inertia and laziness to shame but l think a bit of it is because l still have the most awful cold.
BTW Did l tell you all l have a cold lol , have drunk a bottle of Benylin in 2 days now that must beat my own personal record lol.

I went to Bluewater with DD , quick pooter round, bought some Lindt chocolates from the shop (they do very nice chocolate coins , so if DH doesn't buy me some Belgian ones , I'll get my Christmas ones there)

Looking at Summer wear at the moment (I do tend towards A/W though with the hot flushes I'm the one in a cardi when everyone else is in parkas and down coats)

DC had croissants fpr breakfast and I've rustled up a lasagne for dinner ..

Gym tomorrow ( I go 3x week now ) and sorting out more flipping washing !

I went spinning for the first time in ages and dh is still prepping the walls to paint. He's a ridiculous perfectionist. We now have three walls with no paint left on them at all

Hope you feel better soon Mrs and Internal. Colds going into spring are more miserable than winter ones I find.

Our washing dried on the line today and we've just put evening load number 2 in. We'll put it out overnight and do our bedding in the morning before we go out. The forecast is good tomorrow so everything should dry.

I feel blinking awful tbh with you but it is only a cold and a cough but Oh my ...... Coughing really tires you out .... I can't stop coughing for the life of me . Fluffy we have been forecast rain for the next week . I can't get over you managed to dry your clothes today we have had the heating on the last 3 days .
Hope you are feeling better Internal. I bet going to work was awful for you with it. DH seems to be much better so that is one good thing .

Morning all! Sat here with a tissue wedged up my left nostril... not a good look!! .. Mrs hope your cough is improving. Don’t feel to bad this morn but very bunged up, heavy head. No carboot for me as was raining a lot of last night so very wet out. Will probably spend today pottering at home .. I have 2 bags of reduced potatoes that need using so might make some potato salad and some leek and potato soup. It’s DH turn to do the food shop so will sort him a list out. What’s everyone’s plans for the day?

It's Gisburn Forest today. The kids are really excited about going! They love the Julia Donaldson books and this one was last year's animation at Christmas, so they're slightly more into it than others!

The aim is to leave as soon as the bedding is on the washing line, so about an hour's time. That'll be challenging as DH is almost incapable of having a quick shower!

Morning! It's awful and grey here which is why I'm still in pjs with 2 snoring dogs on my lap, one led on top of the other

I also have the beginning of a cold I think. My throat is sore, my voice is starting to sound quite deep and I feel very lethargic so no doubt I'll feel awful come Tuesday-ish.

Plans for today were meant to be a big house clean with DH, food shopping then a walk but I think we might abandon all plans and go out for lunch then cinema to watch the Avengers instead (if I can stay awake).
