Well DH has come down with the man lurgy and is dying on sofa while I been gutting our bedroom. .. 3 bags rubbish and a box of car boot so feeling very productive. And most excitingly I found a bag full of rolls of Christmas wrapping paper 🙂 yay! .. right better peel him off sofa, got to pick ds up from karate! Hope you are all enjoying the evening... weather has gone back to vaguely sunny!

Dh is sanding down the woodwork in the sitting room. So much dust

Went to my autism assessment (yay! 😆), had a spicy jackfruit wrap and a packet of crisps for lunch on the bus, the DC went to Adventure today so I had ham and mushroom tagliatelle and a mini garlic pizza bread for supper, picked the DC up, DS2 went to bed at 8, DD will go at 9.20. 😋🍄😴

Well I slept downstairs last night as DH was coughing up a storm! He seems to be feeling much better this morn as he has just made me a buttered crumpet and a coffee before heading off to work... power of the lemsip!!
Im working locally today so will have to wait one more day until I find out the fate of my notebooks. It looks like a sunny start so my walk to work will be a pleasant one 🙂.. best go and evict DS from his pit!

Perfectly carol from the bbc weather is at a place not far from where I live today in fact I was in the area yesterday for my staff meeting and am going to the actual place with a friend next Friday.

Have got a bit of a sniffle aka 'the cold from hell' according to DH version of it. I am fine, dosing myself up t' the eyeballs and just keeping on going like we Frontier wimmen do .
Going to the new Trago Mills in Merthyr , this morning .I don't want to go but DH is getting stir crazy . I don't even like the Trago Mills in Newton Abbot, it is full of crap imho. We shall see . I can see this one being worse tbh.
I love Carol the weather Wreck, she gets very hoarse and dresses lovely , I think she has quite a following with the men .I like her style. Sort of smart casual mum next door.
Weather is its usual grim, dank, windy self. Bit like my DH when he has a cold from Hell

I love carol! Yes I live fairly near, about half an hours drive but the other half of our team work from an office there so I go quite often.

I escaped lol twas the continuous sneezing for about 5 mins that did it .... I don't think he wants to be in a confined space ie the car with me now he is getting bettererer.There was a time when he would not have cared about the cold and being in a confined space with me them were the days mwahahahaha

I had chicken salad with ranch dressing, melon and grapes for lunch. 😋🍗🍇

I've got my flexible work meeting next week. I hope it gets agreed!

I've been sorting DS' birthday presents this week (other than the bike I got a month or so ago). Once that's all sorted it'll be downhill to Christmas! Though I'm not buying anything for DD yet as I'd like her to do her list. I'll have to see what takes my fancy in the meantime!

We've got pizza for dinner yum! Always pizza on a Thursday as dd has swimming lessons and we don't get home until half six. Pizza is all dh can cook

Ds swam at school for the first time today and his teacher was really pleased, said he's a fantastic swimmer. I was worried the pool would be too cold for him as he struggles enough with the indoor pools!

Evening everyone. Tired this eve.. didn’t sleep as well as I thought and discovered that coffee at 6.30 am does not agree with me 😮.. made a lasagne yesterday so that will suffice for tea, with dauphinois potatoes and a veg medley I got for 25 p each in mozzers! Bargain! Ds only at karate 6 til 7 on a Thurs so can eat at a semi reasonable hour.
How’s everyone’s DHs doing lol.. mine set off like a racehorse this morn only to run out of steam by lunchtime (I did warn him) so is now feeling sorry and snotty. He will be asleep by half eight I reckon.

Yes the pool is outside, it's got a kind of poly-tunnel over it but the water is still cold!

My DH works from 8 until 12, gets home at 1, has lunch, falls asleep on the sofa for an hour, sometimes 2.

Yes I did Mrs, making dumplings is very therapeutic. Can you buy ready made dumplings?!

DS2 went to bed at 8, DD's going now. 😴

I’m in bed too. Struggling to get up in a morning!
