That looks glorious MrsM

Where did you buy the pins from for your bauble Giggage? I made one of those a couple of years ago using paper flowers I cut out with a punch and the pins cost me more than buying a new bauble! It does look lovely, though!

This year, I've bought the Tim Holtz house die for my die cutter, so me and DS are going to be making mini Christmas houses Grin if you Google 'Putz houses' you'll get the idea. You basically cover them in your own body weight of glitter!

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 05/06/2018 20:12

DD will go to bed at 8.30. 😴 Laid uniforms out, did wash, hung them out. 😆

Mrsmadevans · 05/06/2018 20:19

We had beef buggers here in sesame buns with onions and cheese melted on the top with a salad , DH did the cooking , moi did the washing and wiping up . He does a mean burger Grin
Firefly my DIL used plain drawing pins and dressmaking pins with a pretty coloured ball to it. God knows where she bought them from though . Probably the local haberdashers.

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 05/06/2018 20:21

beef buggers 😂

MrsDilligaf · 05/06/2018 21:39

Mrsmadevans

Grin Beef Buggers!! Best typo of the day!

x

Mrsmadevans · 05/06/2018 21:41

Perfect we always call them beef buggers Grin
On another note Hairspray , does your Dad like Dad's army ? Only my DH has expressed a wish for the Dad's Army stamps that are being released on 26th June . They also have the RAF Centenary available now , they look smashing. l am going to get them for my Dad for Father's Day.

Almost into the 100s!!!!!!

I'm not sure how much snot one person can produce, but I think I'm going for the world record! 🤢🤢🤢 Bloody hayfever is driving me doolally. I'm bloody knackered and itchy and coughing and pissed off. But hey ho!

Still gorgeous weather up here though, which is ace! ☀️☀️☀️

Mrsmadevans · 06/06/2018 09:24

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 06/06/2018 09:41

Morning! I'm having smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and a banana today. 😋🐟🍌

WreckTangled · 06/06/2018 10:10

Poor you fluffy I don't suffer but ds does and it's rotten.

Nice and sunny here today but i appears to be the last sunny day as far as the forecast goes.

Internaljukebox · 06/06/2018 12:38

Hello you lot... just been catching up on happenings, you are lovely .. this is the only thread I’ve ever wanted to stay on!! Beef buggers and thread baby’s - worth it for that alone 😂😂
Well I’m spending my day off at home slowly doing the housework. ( punctuated by watching Jungle Book in Netflix) .. started kickboxing twice a week at ds insistence and my muscles are complaining loudly! Can’t remember the last time I did 30 press ups, sit ups and squats (they are the killer!) but I’m gonns feel the benefit eventually.
Taken some chicken out for tea so think I’m going to pan fry in a garlic mushroom sauce. D dog1 has a tic under his chin found by dd so she is coming up later to help me remove it!! That will be fun.

BiddyPop · 06/06/2018 13:38

Hi all,
My sympathies to all the hay fever sufferers, I think the harsh winter changed the pollens here this spring as I am not soooo bad as usual but I really hate this time of year when my pocket is either bulging with packets of tissues, or else an old fashioned cotton hanky (which is generally sodden, so packets of tissues are preferred - it's one case of "sod the environment"!).

I cast off scarf #5 on Monday night, and scarf #6 should be done before the weekend (I've been doing one at home, and the other on the train, for the past few weeks). #7 is doing ok, but I haven't had long car trips to work on it recently, but there are a few coming up soon. Only 7 more to do!

DH is back to travelling today, after quite a few weeks at home (or only driving for the day) - but this morning's 6am flight was delayed an hour so not a great start! DD and I are having "freezer surprise" type dinners, in an attempt to clear it out before summer veg gluts come in and to make space for autumn/Christmas treats as well. So pasta bake for her, and cauliflower cheese for me (with a lamb chop and leftover mashed potato from bacon and cabbage on Monday).

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 06/06/2018 14:16

Went for my autism results, and yes, I am autistic. Had crisps and apple juice on the bus back. 😋🍎🍏

TheWoollybacksWife · 06/06/2018 14:49

How will your diagnosis change things for you PSB?

I'm bumbling about town killing time before picking DS up after his footy club. I'm going to my favourite wool/craft shop - I suspect supplies may be purchased to make bunting to decorate the garden for our family BBQ.

Giggage · 06/06/2018 15:35

Firefly,. I think I got the pins from the local market, only a couple of quid for about a thousand of them.

Happy belated birthday for yesterday 70

I have also found that hayfever is terrible this year. Dp is suffering really badly this year, he can't cut the grass without sneezing 11 times in a row (no exaggeration, I actually counted, as did his neighbour), do I'm doing it for him. I do a better job anyway.

Can anyone tell me why my posts have no punctuation or paragraphs when I use the website to post and app to read, but when posting on the app only, it's fine?

My last couple of posts are now very difficult to read. Even though they were typed and spaced properly before I pressed send.

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 06/06/2018 17:29

Probably not much Woolly, I don't think I can claim anything as I don't need a carer, I just worry that people think I'm weird.

NoWordForFluffy · 06/06/2018 17:30

I imagine the answer is probably coding, Giggage.

So many people have said the same about hayfever this year. We've had epically high pollen counts to go with our gorgeous weather though. So that's the price we pay.

Did you know you were autistic and were just getting a diagnosis, Buttocks, or did you have another reason for getting it?

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 06/06/2018 17:39

I wasn't really sure. Our lovely family coach arranged it for me, the psychotherapist is actually her friend, or I'd still be on the waiting list! 😆 She thought maybe I'd be able to claim something, but I don't think I can. I manage day to day life fine.

NoWordForFluffy · 06/06/2018 17:46

Ah, that was nice of her! (What's a family coach, by the way?!)

FireflyGirl · 06/06/2018 19:28

I've been lucky - my hayfever hasn't been bad at all this year. My eyes are a bit itchy today but otherwise I'm fine. I'm allergic to whatever is pollen-y now. By the end of June, I usually don't have to take antihistamines any more.

I only developed it when I was 21 after living abroad for a year. I have always wondered if it was exposure to different pollens that set me off?

Interestingly, it never bothered me at all the summer I was pregnant with DS...

I can't help with your IT issues, Giggage - did you try turning it off and back on again? Wink

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 06/06/2018 19:57

They're part of Early Help, not quite social services.

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 06/06/2018 19:59

Picked the DC up, DS2 will go to bed at 8. 😴

Mrsmadevans · 06/06/2018 20:02

Evening all Smile
Perfect , I hope you are alright about this diagnosis my dear , Flowers for you my dear you deserve some it is a shock .
Giggage l don't know anything about coding it sounds very difficult Blush
Internal , we put these special flea/tick/larvae/louse collars on the cats , they are called Seresto flea collar, quite expensive but they are Amazing! We used to spend an absolute fortune on flea spray , collars etc and still get bitten but these are just Amazing . Our Shaky used to have multiple ticks on him and he has not had one on him since we put the collar on in February. Well done on the exercise too am very impressed !
Wreck your poor DS this hayfever is just horrible.
