Went to car boot, it was rubbish, came home and cleaned the bedrooms and bathroom did 2 loads of washing and got it dried , mum rang to say Dad feeling slightly better this afternoon ....YAY! Early days but fingers crossed . Am just settling for a cuppa and a watch of the Spanish Grand Prix.

Evening all! Tentatively good news about Dad Mrs, fingers crossed!
Well I was up at 6 did carboot with my mum, had a great time people watching and made a decent few pennies for the house fund 🙂. Did the food shop this aft and have just come back from a few sunny hours in a beer garden! Hot dogs and nachos for ds tea, and bratwurst, jackets and veg for DH and I with the golf! Hope you all enjoyed your Sunday’s x

He really perked up once he'd had a few goes on the zip wire, Mrs! 😂 He had a great time in the end.

I'm glad your dad seems to be improving a bit. Let's hope he's turned the corner now.

DS has got his SATS starting tomorrow. The school is laying on a breakfast club which means an even earlier start 😴 and DH is away so I've got to get up - no ignoring the alarm this week 😂

DS2 was in bed by 8.30, he actually fell asleep in our bed, DD will go when she emerges from the bath.

Fluffy, he looks so small oh bless him , it looks a long way off the ground too l hate heights . Thank you Fluffy , Dad has been eating a bit more and has been very cantankerous , always a good sign where he is concerned . No spoilers lol!

Ok enablers fellow Christmas planners. I'm doing a Hobbycraft order as I fancied trying needle felting and I thought I could make some baubles for the new tree that will be going in the hall. I've got a neutral colour scheme - white wood, magnolia walls and grey carpet/flooring.

Sooooo... do I go grey/red/silver
Or fuchsia/turquoise/lime/purple? The second one is out of my comfort zone but I think it may be quite striking. I'm thinking beautifully handcrafted 😂 felt baubles and shapes with a few metallic baubles and warm white lights. In reality it will probably be a bit of a dogs dinner and the family will humour me

Afternoon one and all. Just back from my holibobs. A few days in Center Parcs. That's my summer holidays for this year, so I'm back on the Christmas countdown. Celebrated today by watching the Nigella Christmas special.

Went for a lovely walk this morning up the riverbank in Brecon ahhh twas beautiful. Called in to get shopio for the Elderly Parents and dropped it off in Crickhowell for them. Dad seems better , not amazingly so but more interested in what is going on around him . He turned the fridge down in the kitchen and the freezer box defrosted and had run water all over the food . I had to clean it all up and throw out really naice ham and cheese that was waterlogged lol.
He has also been taking double the amount of his meds honestly you can't make it up. Anyway have sorted the fridge and the meds out and off we go again to the next crisis . Main thing is, he is obv better because before he didn't even want to speak let alone turn the fridge down
Ahhh Fluffy he's still such a little one, so sweet, takes me back to when mine were that age, it's a lovely time with them.
Well done Internal on the win and hope the DF sold you the sofa

Mrs .. I bought the sofa! It’s hardly even been sat on and is soooo comfy and it was only 40!! ... I found a buyer for df mums mobility scooter so she did me a very matey ratey!!
Went to visit my friend for a few hours last night and had 2 cups of coffee (i rarely drink it) .. never again, I did not sleep well my brain wouldn’t switch off 🤪 think by the end of today il be ready for an early night.

Lovely out this morning , am off to the market this morning with DH , we restarted our walking yesterday after a 3 week off for the virus / Dad crisis. Hopefully Dad will continue to improve , fingers crossed.
Internal ,that was brilliant re the sofa and the disabled scooter and you did each other a kindness that is what it is all about.
Fluffy , (l am saying that like Michelle says to Renee lol) this four day week is just wonderful l am so pleased for you m'dear. Enjoy .

I'm sitting in my car waiting for the post office in a nearby town to open. It really annoys me that parcelforce leave my parcels here, just leave it on the door step like everyone else 😂
