Had a southern fried chicken wrap and orange juice for lunch, picked the DC up, bought them ice lollies from the PTA, had honey and mustard chicken pasta salad for supper, DS2 will go to bed at 7.30, DD will go at 7.40. 😋🍗🍊😋🍯🍗😴

Well my bloody cold seems to be making a return.. either that or it’s hay fever, my eyes been sore all day and I’m sniffling 😑. Supposed to be meeting DH later to watch a band but am feeling more bath, pjs, baileys coffee, and tv at the moment! Dd has just phoned to see if we wish to “donate” a little bit of money towards her jaunt to Amsterdam on Tuesday 😂😂

Thank you so much for your support re Dad, his blood results are not too bad they can't seem to put their finger on what is wrong with him , he has seen 3 GPs and 2 practice nurses in the past 12 days and no one can find anything wrong. Yet here we are having to get a wheelchair out to take him back and forth the surgery. He is so changed in a month the difference in him is just unbelievable. He has lost 4 lbs , is sighing all the time and just generally totally uninterested in anything , almost as if it is all too much for him to do . The Gp has been outstanding tbf l cannot fault them. They have spoken to his Cons and they are to repeat the bloods in 2 weeks, then go to see the GP after, then the following week to see the Cons. I honestly am flummoxed. He seems like someone who is in the depths of depression but it isn't that it is as if he just can't physically do anything. I am to take him back to the Drs if he gets worse asap so we have to monitor his condition. There is nothing more we can do , l feel like it is unreal because he is clinically well, his B/P is amazing , his obs are excellent , there is no reason l can see for this deterioration. He did have the virus that we had and my DH thinks it could be the aftereffects of it . He may be right , l just give up. We shall just keep on as we have been and take it each day as it comes.

Internal l think it is hayfever m'dear been acting up myself too , sneezing,dripping and tired , just horrible join the club .

We are going to see a steam train thundering through our local station this morning, DH can't wait he is a huge train fan bless.
After reading up on Cfs and ME dad sounds exactly like the symptoms , thank you for the heads up m'dear, poor Dad it really is horrendous.

I've been awake forever thanks to DD. Typically, DS slept until almost-8, which is unheard of (though due to messing about he wasn't actually asleep until about 8 last night, so I'm glad he caught up).

We are off to Martin Mere today. Hopefully get around before it gets too busy. They've got Lego birds / animals there at the moment, which the kids are looking forward to seeing.

Mrs, I hope your dad feels better soon. It sounds miserable for him. Enjoy the trains. We love steam trains. Apparently the Flying Scotsman is at East Lancs today. It cost too much to do for us really though.

Ahhh thank you Fluffy , enjoy the Lego animals it sounds great, the DC will love it l am sure . Going back to see the train returning now might get a pic if it slows down a bit lol.

Went to the Sainsbury's café for breakfast, the DC had bitesize breakfasts, I had cheese on a bagel, had duck and hoisin wraps for lunch, had chicken and bacon salad for supper, DS2's in bed now because he woke up at 4am. 😋😋🍗😋🍗😴

I have a grumpy small child who's refusing to go on a tractor ride at the party. The joy!

Threaten to take him home? They're also less likely to throw tantrums at parties when they're 10. 😆

We went in the playground and on the zip wire instead. Threatening gets nowhere with this one, other than a tantrum / stand off.

It's because he had a nap in the car and hadn't woken up properly. He's fine now.
