OMG I am wiped out this week! We had a sailing event all weekend, so even though I sat on the shore drinking coffee and chatting for a lot of it, I still feel exhausted from it. I did get an hour or so to do the minutes of the Committee meeting from last week, and my DB facetimed me as well which was nice to catch up. And I got a lot of knitting done in the car (I started scarf #6 on Friday and that's now over 3' long, I made more progress on the patterned scarf #3, and as #6 was quite long (so best suited to the couch at night), I started #7 for train commuting yesterday and that is already 8" - only 7 more to go once those are finished).
Woolly I like the sounds of the bright vibrant needle felting!!
Mrs, glad to hear your dad is doing better, even if that means extra work on the fridge (you've just ticked a job off HIS Christmas countdown list
by cleaning it out!!).
Nice exchange Internal and you both get something useful from it.
I'd better go tackle some actual work...I am seriously thinking about claiming some of the remainder of DD's parental leave days to go 4 days in the autumn for a break...then again, it would all wait for me every week and just build up even worse.
