Or what's fashionable... Is it the bright colours or white these days?

Following as interested to, my daughter has a pair of the standard uniform Adidas ones but they are very tatty now.

I find asics are better for their feet and for running, but Nike 'day-wear' might be more a la mode I think.
I had bought her Nike Huarache white ones, but her feet have grown so I've had to return them. Can't get same ones in size 6, so re-thinking my options.

isn't it 97s all the way?

hiddley · 24/11/2017 18:44

what are they now when they're at home? Grin

Christ, just googled, they're way over my budget!

Huaraches are definitely not worn here. A lot of Nike mesh and NB/puma classic style ones

Caulk · 24/11/2017 18:49

Nike Air Force 1?

hiddley · 24/11/2017 18:59

Caulk, if you have time, could you link to Nike mesh and NB/PUMA?

I’ve been asked for tn’s or at least I think that’s what she asked for!

lizabes · 24/11/2017 19:11

Nike AirMax and Adidas Gazelles are popular with ours but 14yo dd’s favourites at the moment are her Pumas. She’s got them in black and gold and wants this pair as part of her Christmas.

Think I'd prefer to get her less fashionable ones, and more ones particularly designed for running. She has enough decorative ones.

God only knows what tn's are!

Dd is 14 and in year 10 and they all want white converse - which is fantastic for winter and mud when you live in the countryside. Shock

hiddley · 24/11/2017 19:33

The silver NB ones are cool.

hiddley · 24/11/2017 19:36

Do you guys buy decorative pairs and proper running type ones? Dd is into a lot of sport.

I don't think the decorative types would withstand a hockey match or 12 laps of the pitch during PE. Might be a little painful!

Caulk · 24/11/2017 19:55

Here it’s PE trainers that stay in PE kit, running shoes for club runs and then 2 or 3 pairs of fashion trainers/converse.

jaimelannistersgoldenhand · 24/11/2017 19:56

Dd likes Nike Roshe, Adidas NMD R1 in Black or Dusky Pink

jaimelannistersgoldenhand · 24/11/2017 19:57

Dd has different trainers for sport and fashion.

Justgivemesomepeace · 24/11/2017 19:57

Mine has specific trainers for sport and trendy ones for hanging about in. If she does a lot of sport don't let her do it in some of the fashion trainers, she'll get injured.

hiddley · 24/11/2017 20:02

Ye, so far I buy proper running ones and she buys cheap decorative ones from Primark herself with her pocket money. Budget I have left is just for either one or the other. I might go for those Nike ones. And ask my Mam to get her more trendy hanging out ones.

OP posts:
Caulk · 24/11/2017 20:04

Which does she need?

hiddley · 24/11/2017 20:04

Jaime can I ask are they decorative or proper running/training types?
