I am new and can't figure out how to pm!! But Tickyboovicki if you still have a Charles tyrwitt code I would be very grateful for one as my husband loves the non iron shirts!Smile

Redken24 · 26/09/2017 22:05

Not sure where my last post went! Will balls be included in the 3-2 argo's? A wee girl would be very happy with an overflowing ball pit

Tickyboovicki · 26/09/2017 22:06

@redtulip12 I will try and PM you tomorrow when my laptop is on!

SweetPeaPods · 26/09/2017 22:11

Anyone know if the little live pets puppy is worth the money? Ds would love a real puppy

christmasunicorn · 26/09/2017 22:13

lastkisstoo · 26/09/2017 22:14

Could anyone please help me with the name of the online retailer of books that had the 10 for £10 offer? Was probably on the 1st or 2nd thread. I ordered from them and haven't had anything delivered. Cannot find any details to contact them. That's what I get for trying to be organised Confused

Iwannasnack · 26/09/2017 22:16

Was it the book people?

BanoffeePieIsMyFave · 26/09/2017 22:19

@lastkisstoo pretty sure it was the works

Carrie76 · 26/09/2017 22:20

Last kiss too I think that was the works?

tootsieglitterballs · 26/09/2017 22:21

@lastkisstoo it was the works - if it's not still on, it will be back around very soon. I get different offers from them every single day.

lastkisstoo · 26/09/2017 22:22

It was The Works thank you all! Off to find out what happened to my order now.

Can't believe how quickly these threads move! I had to come off them for a couple of weeks as I didn't have spare cash. It's so hard to stay away when I know I am missing bargains.

Thanks again Flowers

Islacornx · 26/09/2017 22:27

Not sure if anyone has posted this:

Ends tomorrow and the code is:

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 26/09/2017 22:28

Oooh a huge thank you to whoever said about the Fragrance Library scents being reduced...whenever I'm in Boots I regularly smell 3 of them but could never justify £15 each...at £6 and the fact that they're going to disappear forever means that I now happily smell like Grass, Fresh Laundry and Soap Grin

Should probably stop buying things for me however...

applepinkierainbow · 26/09/2017 22:43

SweetPeaPods I bought it for my DD aged 4 last Christmas (it was about £35 if I remember correctly - I had tracked it on camelcamelcamel). It always sounded a bit mechanical with a whirring noise when the pup moved but she loved it. She has been really gentle with it but it developed a fault after about 6 months and now just makes the whining noise. I am not sure I would buy one again knowing the issues.

ipswichwitch · 26/09/2017 22:44

Time, you were asking about Power Rangers stuff, I ordered this deluxe ninja steel megazord from asda for £30, down from £43 (seen it for £50 elsewhere). Looks pretty good for the price

winewolfhowls · 26/09/2017 22:50

Thanks for the recommendation for the toddler tub thing upthread from toyella. Perfect! Also bought a discounted yoyo spinner combination thing that looks good for my older child

woodwaj · 26/09/2017 23:29

@eitak22 have you looked at subscription boxes? My oh gets loot crate and the zavvi z box. If anyone is thinking about these I think I have referral codes for both.

TimeForMy10thCuppa · 26/09/2017 23:33

Ipswich- thank you. I have seen that one. Hoping it is still at the price on payday. I think thats the one he is planning on asking santa for.

LittleMyLikesSnuffkin · 27/09/2017 06:49

Argos aren't including all of their toys in their 3for2 offer this time round just certain ones and it's not clear which are unless you click on them individually. Oh and they've hiked the prices up big time Hmm I mean I knew they would probably all be at the rrp but one of the toys I wanted to get my son has doubled in price and I didn't even know it was ever that expensive!

Smyths currently have a "save a tenner for every £50 you spend" deal but it's instore only. Might mosey on down there tbh and sack off argos entirely

Reastie · 27/09/2017 06:55

Chocolate I opted to have the February issue which arrives in early January as th first issue as it's a present for mil, so I'm afraid looks like that thinking probably isn't right. Once I had an issue with a free gift from Hearst and they sent out a replacement very quickly so might be worth an email to check (do it soon in case they run out of mugs, in which case you might be sent another free gift which could be brilliant or rubbish )

SockEatingMonster · 27/09/2017 07:01

Wow, the Argos 3 for 2 really is rubbish, isn't it? Out of the 7 things I had on my wish list just ONE is included in the offer. I wonder if they'll add more things later?

NoWordForFluffy · 27/09/2017 07:03

The Argos 3 for 2 isn't being heralded on their front page like it normally is. It feels very low key.

Most other places seem to have sales on for toys right now, so if you've time it's probably worth shopping around.

Lego sets are probably a good bet in the 3 for 2 as the price for 1 seem about right in relation to RRP.

SockEatingMonster · 27/09/2017 07:34

I might have been slightly premature in condemning the Argos 3 for 2. Just checked back and a couple of things now have the '3 for 2' label on their pictures even though they are still not yet listed under the offer and the offer does not come up when you click on them or add them to your basket (like the shopkins mega pack, for example).

I can see that the offer includes hatchimals for those that are after them, and lots of Lego although not the bloody sets I wanted

Freezingwinter · 27/09/2017 07:37

2 of the three things I had reserved (leap frog till, Henry Hoover toy) are in the offer. Peppa pig aeroplane not included but have reserved a leap frog laptop and Peppa singing toy.. Trying to decide which to buy now. Still a good price i think for toys that are wanted!

Fairytoad · 27/09/2017 07:38

The argos 3 for 2 price hike is scandalous. I reserved 2 imaginext sets at £14.99 each yesterday and they have gone upto £35 each today. My reservation still shows the original price, does anyone know if I will have to pay the higher price?
