Help needed please. I'd like to buy my young teens a smart water bottle each for their stockings. Looking at the S'well/Chillys style 0.5l tall metal bottles on Amazon. Most important thing is for it not to leak. Wonder if anyone has had experience of these kinds of bottles and can report back if they are leak proof please? I am sure that I have found in the past that they put their prices up for the 3for2 which makes everything less bargaineous anyway. I think their clearanc stuff is much cheaper (b ut may not be what DCs want of course)- What do others think?

Anyone looking for Nexo Knights Argos have good deals especially this Jestro´s Volcano Lair which is now a retired productand is very difficult to find. I really don´t know why I torture myself by looking at Argos. They do not do interntational delivery anymore so I can´t get their bargans anyway.

Grr so John Lewis are still saying out of stock for the 2/3ds - are they deliberately staying out of stock to avoid all the price matching I wonder!

Wanted to get them from somewhere that does an insurance cover as well so have been looking st JL and amazon. But with the equivalent of 20% of at smyths should I just go there now and forget cover?

I think for click and collect to work it has to be the same store so it goes through the til at the same time as you are paying in store

Singadream I'm also going to smyths for expensive items today as I think this will be the cheapest way to get them. Dd wants 2 things that come to £170. Along with a couple of other things on my list I'm planning to spend £251 today and get £50 off.

It does kind of depend on the items though, my friend who is coming with me and has a younger dd has worked out that it will not be the cheapest way for her to buy.

I do have more things on the list, but I don't want to buy everything so early and am betting there will be other good deals nearer to Christmas in other places/smyths again....

But I'm throwing my hat in the ring that this is probably as good as it gets for 'big' things (unless you want 3 equally priced big things then wait for argos 3 for 2).

Arghhh! Was all prepared to reserve my Argos stuff for collection on Wednesday, when DD started vomiting. That's 2 days off school and means I can't get to an Argos until Thursday. I'm now pinning all my hopes on everything being in stock tomorrow morning so I can place a fast track (pay online, collect within 7 days in store) order. I need a Designafriend doll, so can't just wait for Amazon to price match either.

Just reserved my three items in store! Will get it for 40 instead of 60. Pleased!

I've set up two orders so hopefully that gets most of Christmas out of the way just the bits and bobs to get to go with!
