Does anyone know if Tesco's have their tubs of Xmas chocs cheap yet? If so I might go today and get the organs at the same time Grin

MooPointCowsOpinion · 24/09/2017 12:04

itsnice they're 2 for £7 in Tesco I think, apparently they don't get much cheaper than that. £4 a tub usually in most places.

NoWordForFluffy · 24/09/2017 12:06

@nocutsnobuttsnococonuts we have this Melissa and Doug penguin. Our two love him so much!

He does sometimes lurk malevolently in the dark though and has been known to scare me shitless on occasion! 😂🐧😂

I've just been very excited at a great bargain to be disappointed at the last minute. Victoria Secret has its body sprays on offer for £5.91 and some of the summer ones for £4.91 they're normally £18 each. I had a load in my basket to find that the postage was a stupid £8 😵 So as I had a fair few,I reasoned that it added £1 to each bottle which was still a great offer. Then when I went to check out they said we don't ship these items! 🙄 What kind of global brand can't ship liquids. Surely they have them in a U.K. Depot. Anyway, I'm off to town to investigate if the offer is in store. Unfortunately DD in tow so that will be a surprise spoiled.

Thank you moo!

Hmmmm. wonder if that classic cadbury's set will have the nice original recipe chocolate in it or the grim American tampered with variety?

SolemnlyFarts · 24/09/2017 13:53

Thanks to everyone posting Irish bargains! I'm often Envy at all the stuff you can only get in the UK, so it's really nice to see some things I definitely can buy. Let's not talk about what Brexit will do to our shopping options

cookiefiend · 24/09/2017 13:58

A couple of years ago someone on here recommended the maps and animaliam books which at the time were reduced to about £7. DD1 was too wee at the time to bother, but I wish I had got them as they hardly ever go down. Today they have- not their lowest price ever, but their lowest price in a long time.

animalium £8

maps £8.50

And (randomly) a nice captain America door mat reduced to £4, but not to be delivered for a wee while. (Amazon is listed under other offers and is £4)

Ds5 has heard dd10 talking about wanting a 3ds for xmas and now he wants one too - help do I get them one each Confused was going to get a 2ds but she's clears it's a 3ds she wants Sad

RJnomore1 · 24/09/2017 14:12

3ds are not recommended for under 8(?) as the 3D feature can damage their eyes. 2ds would be fine and plays the same games.

Carrie76 · 24/09/2017 14:15

Another one for the Irish shoppers! I was in Tesco today and they quite a few things marked down. They had the playmobil fire engine for €24, I know not as good as UK but still good. Quite a few paw patroller things half price and these doll sets which I thought were pretty bargainous

My 10 yr old ds has a 3DS - we have always kept the 3D turned off, so it's just the same as a 2DS then.

fourquenelles · 24/09/2017 14:27

My UK Tesco has tubs of sweets back up to £5 each atm. Sad

EmGee · 24/09/2017 14:32

Cookie thanks for the Maps book link - just purchased.

friskybivalves · 24/09/2017 14:40

Yes me too Cookie - the maps and animalium both look lovely. Bought.

Mrsmadevans · 24/09/2017 14:44

they are 4£ in Morrisons atm

GerrardWinstanley · 24/09/2017 15:00

HEMA has £15% off everything today plus their normal free delivery over £20. Website was a bit glitchy with log in and check out this morning though. Glad I persevered as I got some great stocking/advent fillers

margaritasbythesea · 24/09/2017 15:12

You know thise little RC helicopters that lots of people got? Were they a success? Just wondering if there was a good deal on at the moment and if they might fulfill DS´s drone desire.

Also, does anyone know what the Lego Store´s Christmas freebie might be this year?
