@sockeatingmonster that's great, thanks. I'll download it now Flowers

I go away for one night and we have a new, half full thread! Things are picking up.
Got the Elf boxes from Matalan, they are great.
Did someone here work for Boots? I'm waiting for the Benefit tins to come in. :)

Fraggle, there was some cheap Lego Classic instore at Asda apparently.

scrappydappydoo · 23/09/2017 12:35

Just been into home bargains and they had sequin art kits for £3.99. My 9yr old loves these and they're usually £10/12. Picked some up for my birthday presents stash.

endehors · 23/09/2017 12:38

Many thanks to the poster who mentined the free personalisation at Emma Bridgewater this weekend. I have a relation with a nine letter name (£1 per letter usually), so that's a good saving. I also used discount code WELCOME15UK for 15% off

NormaSnickers · 23/09/2017 12:39

Fraggle Asda had a 900 piece box of Lego Classic reduced from £30 to £18, I got one a few days ago but my friend says they are sold out in lots of stores. They don't appear online on the George section of the website but apparently are available to buy online on the grocery website - I haven't checked to see if this is correct but it might be worth a look if you can't find any in store. Hope that helps!

NoWordForFluffy · 23/09/2017 12:53

I just checked and yes, the Lego is on the grocery site. Obviously! 😂

RJnomore1 · 23/09/2017 12:55

My Debenhams order is here!

Such excitement!

KitKatCHA · 23/09/2017 13:08

Kids mermaid tail blanket pink and purple are £4.99, hardly any stock left though!

VoldemortsNipple · 23/09/2017 13:12

shoeaholics have some great savings on designer bags, shoes and accessories. If you sign up to their newsletter you get a further 20% off your first order. I've just got my sister a lovely pair of Carvella Kurt Geiger slippers for £16. Postage was a stupid £5 but I'd saved that with the extra 20% so still a good deal. They had some beautiful bags.

Myfanwyprice · 23/09/2017 13:23

Thank you for the tip about Tinc, I ordered 31 items of stationery for just over £30 yesterday, free delivery and it arrived today! Really lovely stocking fillers!

fraggle84 · 23/09/2017 13:25

Thankyou for the Lego tip im off to our big Asda!

penstemon · 23/09/2017 13:28

Playmobil airport dropped to £33 on Amazon. It's usually around £45. It isn't the best price ever but is very close.

RJnomore1 · 23/09/2017 13:40

The Lancôme mascara sets are back in stock but click through from hot uk deals or you are only getting 10% off not a third.

Wiifitmama · 23/09/2017 13:53

I know someone has said IWOOT has bad customer service but I have placed a couple of orders with them and been happy. They have a clearance on right now and there is a further 10% off sale prices with code XMAS. Some great stocking fillers and gifts for teens and adults especially including star wars stuff.

LetThereBe · 23/09/2017 13:53

Thanks to the poster who mentioned the Christmas doodle cards at The Works. I ordered them (and lots of other bits). They look great.

These look lovely for £1

janed9388 · 23/09/2017 14:02

has anyone had one of the amazon £7.xx fingerlings delivered yet ? I'm still dithering as to whether they are real or fake !

AceyMcLaughlin · 23/09/2017 14:15

Hiya I have a code for 30% off your first box for craft gin club if anyone wants it :)

GinAndSonic · 23/09/2017 14:19

Hey, think I missed the last thread, been struggling with my mental health. Started antidepressants today and I'm back to distract myself until they work.

Ds is 8 in a few weeks and would like
-maui's hook
-batman walkie talkies

I'll trawl through the thread later for other inspiration as you are all much better at Christmas than I am!

margaritasbythesea · 23/09/2017 14:39

Hi GinandSonic! Hope things start improving for you now. X

DS who is 7 just added a drone to his list after we saw a super cool one at the beach which looked like it cost hundreds. Can anyone point me to a fairly sturdy reasonably priced one please. We had a little one a year or so ago and it was great until it broke bashing into something after about 20 minutes.

Gooseysgirl · 23/09/2017 14:49

Waiting for mine janed9338... I'm cautiously optimistic that they'll be ok!

Llamacorn · 23/09/2017 14:55

Hope you start to feel better soon Gin Flowers

I've hit a present buying slump I think. Need make up & clothes for dd1, and it's her birthday in Nov too. Dh had his 40th in Dec, dd3 is mostly toys so I'm holding out for Argos 3for2 and hopefully a smyths discount.
Dd2 (11 after xmas) I haven't got the foggiest for her.

I've noticed Ted Baker has 30% off some things if anyone likes that.

Penguinbeaver · 23/09/2017 14:57

Gin for walkie talkies it might be an idea to get a decent set and then personalise with batman stickers yourself as apposed to the character ones that don't always work as well? That's what I did last year
