Superseding are doing a free unicorn hairband with selected styling products, might be a good stocking filler.

@RJnomore1 - that was me! I'm off to take a look!

Butterymuffin · 23/09/2017 09:34

Jumping in! Re the Lego advent calendars. The Star Wars ones stay stubbornly at 24.99 although I have had a fiver off by buying at Smyths on a discount day before. But the others do fluctuate in price on Amazon so if you're after one of those it's worth tracking them.

Duchessofealing · 23/09/2017 10:00

John Lewis at Canary Wharf has non Star Wars Lego advent calendars in store at 19.99

ReindeerPoop · 23/09/2017 10:00

Is there anything like CamelCamelCamel for Argos? DS (3) is desperate for this RC ATAT but it's stubbornly between £80-100 but I'm sure I recently missed it at half price. I wondered if it's frequently reduced to half price?

Reastie · 23/09/2017 10:01

I had such a dire experience from customer services at IWOOT (as did others here) I'm tempted to put in a ban on them (although I don't think I can do that). Them and hush, we shall never manitou hush again Wink

@herroyalfattyness I'd like the naked wines code please! But I've never sent anyone a pm and.cant seem to find out how to do it? Have only replied to someone!

MorbidMuch · 23/09/2017 10:10

Thanks for the Accessorize tip AllHallowsEve - I've ordered a couple of pairs of very reasonably priced earrings for friends.

Traidcraft (charity helping communities through fair trade) have lots of great items and potential presents in their sale. Mostly adult items reduced, but some kids things too. Even though they are reduced for us, the makers still received a fair wage. Traidcraft Sale

Minster2012 · 23/09/2017 10:13

What's the oldest age for the Lego sets please, my friend has said 'Lego for my DS' but the oldest one. But with no DC I don't know? TIA

SockEatingMonster · 23/09/2017 10:14

@ReindeerPoop I have no idea how and if this works, as I have only just discovered it myself, but if you download the Argos app and add items to your wish list, there is an option to be notified of price drops.

@buckeejit that's the only Minecraft Lego I've ordered from Aliexpress (although probably not the last!)

I'll go through my past orders when I'm next at my laptop and link to other things that I have bought and been impressed with...

MrsBennettsNerves · 23/09/2017 10:44

Some great bargains! Thanks everyone.

Does anyone have a Next referral code? I'm looking to open an account as MIL wants mule slippers specifically from there but there are several other things we want to get her so want to keep the cost down for the Next things - I'm hoping to put together a relaxed night in type hamper, as she's also mentioned liking particular toiletries, so was thinking hot chocolate in a nice mug, slippers, bath stuff, a film, bottle of Baileys, etc.

Will Lisa Angel have another sale, do you think? I dithered over some beautiful gloves and then the sale had ended and I've thought of 3 people I could've bought them for. Sad That'll teach me to be indecisive. I did buy two lovely bracelets though.

Long shot, but if anyone lives near Trentham Gardens, in the shopping village is a shop with fossils, random cool bits and bobs (we got a set of strong magnets DS6 adores for 50p per magnet), and gifts. Think it's Natural World? They have Playmobil and Lego reduced, and even some Warhammer with small amounts off. Talking of Warhammer, DH found a website with 20% off, though we've not used it before. If anyone is interested I'll get the name from DH.

VoldemortsNipple · 23/09/2017 10:51

@Allhallowseve thanks for the Accessorize link. Two bags for under £30 delivered

fraggle84 · 23/09/2017 10:54

Mrsbennett ive pm you about the next referral

Popsicle789 · 23/09/2017 10:58

Went to a primark and they had loads of unicorn items.. earphones, big slipper, slipper socks, adult sized onesies, pj short sets and hooded dressing gown.
They also had in their kids dept JoJo Siwa make up bits, lip glosses, body spray. Good for stockings

SideOrderofSprouts · 23/09/2017 11:00

Thank you. I just ordered dh a 3D pen that I'm not sure he needs for Christmas

And theywhoshallnotbenamed should be banned

Moana123 · 23/09/2017 11:13

The new Spider-Man film is free for sky customers from the sky store at the moment. It's buy & keep, so it downloads to your sky box and then they send you the DVD in the post. Could be used as a Christmas present for someone...

fraggle84 · 23/09/2017 11:15

Has anybody seen any deals on Lego classic?

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 23/09/2017 11:23

I didn't even bloody order from Hush but their name is still shit to me. So rude and all of their own making in the first place.

I don't think I ever checked that I was refunded from IWOOT after blender-gate Shock

Sogrowjo · 23/09/2017 11:25

Thank you for reminding me I need to order my 3D pen!

BubbleFrog · 23/09/2017 11:29

I'm looking to get 3 trunki;s. I know they are 20% off this weekend but its still expensive compared to Amazon. Anyone know if they are ever in 3 for 2 deals?

Minster2012 · 23/09/2017 11:33

Sugru looks great, so many things this thread is teaching me about! I hope I get a notonthehighstreet book through with a code, I want to order the snafflingpig advent calendar for DH & some other bits... fingers crossed

Reastie · 23/09/2017 11:34

Bubble I'm sure I remember reading somewhere either Aldi or Lidl are getting their own version of trunkis in store if not already then very soon, might be worth keeping an eye out.
