Haudyerwheesht · 18/09/2017 10:09

There's also a wilko blox calendar for £8

SimplyNigella · 18/09/2017 10:11

IHope Aspinal must be listening, they have just sent me a 15% code! I'm not sure whether it is just for the ladies collection or not but worth a try- the code is THEATRE.

Jessica78 · 18/09/2017 10:16

Likewise with the chocolates! Thank you! Will be interesting to see the date on them when they arrive, but will eat them ourselves if they won't last til Christmas!

goblinhob · 18/09/2017 10:29

If anyone sees the playmobil Children's hospital in store please update thread, Asda all sold out 😞

drspouse · 18/09/2017 10:50

Right time to get organised, good way to procrastinate work tasks anyway!

I'm after a specific remote controlled car for DS and probably something else car related or motorbike related for DD - am I right that Smyths may be doing a discount day later in the autumn?

Would also quite like some nice foody gifts for mum/dad/adult friends.

Think everyone else is getting books from The Book People to be honest!

PopTheDragon · 18/09/2017 11:05

Thank you Cup

buckeejit · 18/09/2017 11:06

Sun thank you!!

torthecatlady · 18/09/2017 11:11

Just a note to say the Emma Bridgewater mug arrived from good house keeping today.

It didn't come in an EB box, the mug was wrapped in a padded envelope and then in a brown box.

Could still be gifted if wrapped in tissue and put in a gift bag! I'll be keeping it!

Looking forward to the Christmas copy of the magazine now!

OhHolyFuck · 18/09/2017 11:16

Ahhh, I can see it that way, thanks @FireflyGirl

drspouse · 18/09/2017 11:17

Just ordered the EB spotty mug for my mum with some plates/mugs for my two DCs to come under "something you need". I got them exactly the same for each to avoid arguments.

Whoever posted the code above I used it but your Trouva code goes to your own referral page.

drspouse · 18/09/2017 11:20

The Malteaser chocs are the £3.50 in Wilkinsons too outraged Debenhams would try to charge £7!!. I got some (for me!) last Friday and they're dated April 2018.

fourquenelles · 18/09/2017 11:49

Thank you so much reastie for these threads. My Lisa Angel scarf arrived this morning. Beautifully presented in a lovely box type envelop for less than a fiver. I managed to get to it before the dogs this year so no teeth marks either Grin

Iwannasnack · 18/09/2017 11:56

I bought new coats for me and DD from mountain warehouse in the sale with the code from a previous thread. All arrived today and I'm very pleased. Came with another 15% off code SEPT15BB in case it helps anyone. Don't forget cash back!

fourquenelles · 18/09/2017 11:56

Just ordered this at $6.99 postage only for my DD's stocking. It may take 40 days to arrive due to demand but still in time for Christmas

EmGee · 18/09/2017 11:58

Sorry to bring up Wish again. I keep seeing it on my FB feed and am tempted to get some Boden style dresses for the kids. What a bout sizing? If it comes from China, I am imagining it's very small?

Also re Book People discount codes. What are the best ones to go for?? I have some stuff in my basket and am waiting til a good one comes along!

IToldYouIWasFreaky · 18/09/2017 12:00

@beccarooney Thanks for the link! I have used your code and also bagged a free brewery tour...perfect little treat for my beer-mad boyfriend!

Here's my link if anyone wants to do the same (it also credits my account with £10)

Not specifically a Christmas thing but I am looking for the most cost effective way to get 4 adults and 3 children on the London Eye in Nov. The best I have been able to find so far is 2 for 1 with train tickets but I don't think we'd be able to book in advance which is a shame. Has anyone seen anything better? Thanks!

Rockhopper81 · 18/09/2017 12:09

Real life bargain here - Trespass in Poole has a clearance floor now (maybe others do too?); I took my nephew to get a waterproof coat and we got him one for £9.99 (reduced from £30-odd), which was indeed waterproof when we got caught in a torential downpour that afternoon! His was age 3-4, but the style he had went from 2-3 up to 11-12, plus loads of other coats there (children and adults).

Not particularly festive, but given the weather lately someone might find it useful! Smile
