we are going to Tredegar House tomoz to see the Halloween stuff there,hope the weather holds it has been beautiful today .
Firefly we used to let the girls open a couple of pressies after christmas and bfore because they had too many . They were off school and they seemed to love it! LOL what child wouldn't though !

I am having a delayed Rudolph Day as DH is away with work and my house is all clean and peaceful
I went to Sainsbury's yesterday and treated myself to a Christmas candle and the December issue of Good Housekeeping so this morning I am watching the snowman and listen to the Buble album while having a read, then out for lunch and back for more festive tv / music while I crochet some presents.

I think I ordered my Christmas party dress last night. No involved! It's on two weeks restock. I've had a notification from PayPal to say the transaction is pending but I've not had any confirmation from Next. Is that usual?

Fluffs the red squirrel woods sound lovely I have googled them lol! We are members of the NT and now we have retired I want to do the lot of them! Bit ambitious I know!

I want to see the red squirrels, I have never seen one in the wild although we have been to places they should be. None in Bucks sadly.

I went through all the presents I have bought so far, I think I am done for the children aside from cereal (they get chocolate / silly cereal in their stocking) and a raid on tiger for silly little bits.

We saw loads of squirrels today. They're so damn cute with their tufty little ears! 😁

We take a bag of monkey nuts with us and lure them out. We know a good place to do this now (numerous visits; also NT members!), so can stand for ages watching them nibble on the nuts we've thrown for them, as well as them playing with / chasing each other. They come within a foot of you sometimes. Amazing!

Lovely dress Fridge ( I don't do dresses , I'm the wrong shape I'm afraid )

We have a Resident Robin who sits on the twisting handle of the washing whirlygig , and now a Resident Squirrel (grey not red but he's very cute, though I'm wary of him chewing things)
He usually scampers along with a monkeynut in his mouth , along the fence
"Oh look at me , I'm much cuter than your guinea-pigs, I can climb a fence and I have a tail " he chortles.

I bought some PJs for DD , winter ones not Christmas (I bought her Christmas ones a couple of weeks ago) need to buy DS PJs next.

Writing lists galore and plan to take DH shopping mid Nov (he's thrilled not ) .
