Happy Birthday Fridge!!
Well, I managed to get about 40% of my cards written (not bad stuck in a middle seat between 2 rather large gentlemen, each hogging the arm rests!). So not a bad result.
I must update my spreadsheet today with the latest spends. I'm going to do an amazon order, as I need a charging cable for my phone as well as the Echo (what's her name, Alexa, thingy) for DH present. I just need to schedule it as it must come parcel motel (electronics not generally shipped to IE), and I am away so much just now - but I think I should be ok ordering today as I am back again on Monday until Friday morning next week, so that should be the right sort of window....I think?
DD is good, she was upset about things but is happy it's being dealt with, although she's not keen on another chat about communicating with coaches if something is happening there and then (she prefers to "run and hide" to allow herself get over it, and then tends to want to just join back in and not talk about it). But a teacher involved in the coaching is due to have that chat today (a different teacher involved in the coaching apparently had one yesterday - but repeating it to her is not a bad thing either!).
Aw Constantly, there is a definitely enthusiastic bunch have joined in!!
(Or maybe Fridge was just so excited she wanted to celebrate the whole 24 hours of her birthday!
!) Nice find on the voucher though!
Mrs that does sound a bit mad. Hopefully you and DH can have your row in peace, and then do some plotting and planning. And adjusting to each others' new realities again too. (Should I mention the season of peace and goodwill that we are all celebrating daily?!
! OK sorry.....
)
"Mountain of crusts" sounds slightly appropriately Alpine and snowy Woolly, enjoy your day.
Could someone enlighten me - what is a fingerling? Is it something for small DCs or have I missed something essential for tweens? (Which wouldn't surprise me!)
Today I am mostly doing paperwork and organization of work-work and home-work. I may have to go back to the airport this evening (DH's plane was delayed a long time this morning so he thinks he may not get home here tonight, has to be in our home city for a meeting mid-morning so is going to try and get a flight there tonight instead, and DD and I will drive down tomorrow (we were all going anyway for the long weekend) - but DH's car is in the airport still here. Life is never quiet in our house
